I notice yesterday that there is construction going on at the old gas station site next to Fenwick tower. Does anyone know if this is the start of that 20 story higrise they were talking about a few years back?

Its been greatly downsized since it was supposed to be a 20 story tower. its now a 10 story tower for residential use. At one point it was even supposed to be 3x10 story towers. heres the application for it from 2005:

On another note I see that construction on Gladstone Ridge or whatever it's called is well underway.

The downsizing is too bad. It could have blocked out Fenwick Tower for a pretty significant viewplane! Well, at least it might offset it a bit and jazz up the area. I'd like to see a colour rendering.

Yeah, Gladstone Ridge will also be very welcome to its area. There seems to be room for development around there.
