Aramco, Conoco $6bn refinery

Saudi Aramco and US oil firm ConocoPhillips are expected to soon sign an agreement to build a 400,000 bpd refinery at a cost of $6bn in Yanbu on the Red Sea, according to news agency reports. Reports said the project would be similar to Aramco's refinery project with France's Total, which is being built in Jubail.

So One refinery in Jubail and another at Yanbu??

That would mean the two refineries together will be able to produce 800,000 bpd?

How does Saudi currently export 11 million bpd?? Are they refined elsewhere?

There are six other refineries in Saudi (Jubail, Rabigh, Riyadh, Jeddah, Ras Tanoura and Yanbou). All together refine 2.5 million barrels per day of crude. Some goes into local market and somes is exported. The two new refineries are both for exprting refined products.
