I totally thought this was in Beirut, I had no idea. I was soo confused trying to figure out the angle it was shot from?

I still LOVE platinum, and until the other towers in Beirut fomulate, this is still the best looking building. Its just a shame that its not as original as we thought.

The one in Savona was completed in 2007,
there's not copy rights violation as both projects were designed by the same architect

^^ Nice, I knew you couldn't help but love the shiny box.

Did you wait for the Benz to drive by or was that not planned? It adds a nice touch.

^^ The Mercedes is a major part of the composition, and obviously it wasn't there by mistake. Try removing it from the picture and all you will be left with is "another picture for a building".

What happened is that I parked my car to shoot 362 Minet el Hosn, and it was already too dark. When I was done, I looked in my mirror to check the traffic so I can leave, and saw the PT standing there in glory, dwarfing everything around yet looking humbly at me as if it's telling me: "w ana? ma baddak tsawwerni kamen?:sad2:" LOL

So I decided to shoot it (lawweli albi!), and decided that I should have something in the shot to complement the lower part, so I started shooting passing cars. After several shots including some very nice cars, I saw the Benz coming from a distance, fairly slowly, driven by a typical Lebanese gigolo! I prepared the shot, and when he passed by me I took it. I just wish I had my DSLR with me, cause this shot was taken by my (very nice and loyal) pocket camera, but the quality isn't that good at all.

Btw, I swear when I looked at the PT, I said to myself: If I'm gonna post this now, Beiruti is not gonna let it pass without mentioning my "shiny box"! LOL
Well we all love shiny things, and the biggest box in Beirut is not an exception after all! ;-)

PS: I just came back home, and I had a good shooting session with some major updates today, so keep tuned...(Teaser: Mathaf-Adlieh-Ashrafieh-Nahr)

When I saw them, I knew they were familiar. By checking the cameras they were taken with, I doubted they were yours (Abdallah's Rebel XSi and Rabih's 20D). A simple search here proved that I was right.

Take it easy on the "abuser", he's no stranger!

Martyr, this kind of intellectual property abusiveness isn't accepted, whether intentionally or (as I'm sure it's the case), unintentionally.

There's nothing in the world that feels worse than seeing your work used without giving you credits, but seeing it used AND credited to someone else.

Please fix the problem (and others if any) ASAP...
