As we all know, Sheffield is undergoing an extensive period of regeneration that will change the face of the city centre. However, there are some sheer horror sights that are still present and in dire need of redevelopment.

I'll set the trend, is this not the worst image of the city centre??

Where is that? Surely not Sheffield?? What have I said about nicking pictures from the Leeds forum?? It's not big, and it's not clever.

Shot at a bleak time of year, and still the most seen images of Sheffield.

Not quite city centre, I know, but this is an absolute abomination:

Lot far more exiting, devil may careish, rebel, fun loving people than those attending the red n white winjers over t'uther side of town.

And castle market is aweful. It needs to go instantly. park hills not much prettier though.

I've always wondered where some of them were taken from. The shot where Dave and Gaz are overlooking Meadowhall, Tinsley Cooling Towers etc with the nice green park. I've always tried to look for it when driving along the M1 but it's always just housing and no big green field like in the film.

I don't have a clue I've only been around the city centre, sheffield uni, meadowhall and Norfork Park to visit a mate. I don't really know any areas of Sheffield by name.

I think it's Skye Edge as well, looking towards (over the top of) Hyde Park Flats. There are shots from Wincobank and Ski Village areas looking down on the valleys too.

^^ Not been funny but thats exectly what I thought.

Im guessing its an old pic because the Leppings Lane end is in serious need of paint at the very least!

Then Sun also make a big difference!

Correct. Its the furthest end, near Manor Oakes Road.
