Fellow Hong Kong forumer InitialD18 and I made a short visit to Dresden earlier this month under beautiful blue skies. The city was badly bombed by the Allies during WW2, but there is a massive effort to rebuild the old quarter of the city, and construction continues as the city prepares to celebrate its 800th anniversary this year.
