The SR350 million ($93.3 million) Al Dammam Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and Al Anoud Tower expansion – which is expected to be the third tallest tower in Saudi Arabia when it is completed in a year’s time – are just two of the prestigious projects that have come off the drawing boards of the Riyadh-based East Consulting Engineering Center (ECEC).

The architectural and engineering services consultancy, which has more than two decades of experience behind it in handling number of mega projects across the kingdom, has just seen the completion of construction on the state-of-the-art 400-bed hospital in Dammam.
“The contractor has just handed over the project to the Ministry of Health, which is currently fitting out the facility. It will be one of the main healthcare facilities in the kingdom with inpatient and outpatient facilities,” says a spokesman for ECEC.
The Al Anoud Tower expansion is being developed by the Princess Al Anoud Charity Organisation, at Riyadh’s King Fahad Road. The SR30 million project, which boasts 22 floors, rising to about 125 m, will consist of three commercial floors, nine hotel floors and the remaining being office levels, the spokesman adds.
“We are currently working on the detailed design for the Al Anoud Tower expansion project, tenders for which are expected to be announced within the next couple of months,” he says.
“The project will rise adjacent to the Al Anoud Tower, which is currently under construction and has reached the 11th floor level. Both the towers will be of the same height and will be completed simultaneously.”

وقع الأمير سعود بن فهد بن عبد العزيز رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لمؤسسة الأميرة العنود بنت عبد العزيز بن مساعد الخيرية عقد إنشاء برج العنود الثاني وعقد إنشاء مجمع الأميرة العنود الخيري ومقر مؤسسة الأميرة العنود بنت عبد العزيز بن مساعد الخيرية في الرياض في مقر المؤسسة في الرياض بقيمة 260 مليون ريال مع شركة الرضوان للهندسة والمقاولات بالتضامن مع شركة سدر للتجارة والمقاولات.

وأكد الأمير سعود بن فهد على متانة وقوة الاقتصاد السعودي والذي جاء بفضل الله ثم بتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده للمحافظة على قوة الاقتصاد السعودي وعدم تأثره بأي متغيرات عالمية، مشددا على أن الإعلان عن المشروع في الوقت الحالي وما يمر فيه العالم من أزمات مختلفة بما فيها القطاع العقاري يؤكد عدم تأثر المؤسسة بمشاريعها العقارية، لافتا إلى أن المؤسسة قادرة على القيام بمشاريعها بنفسها.

وأبان رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لمؤسسة الأميرة العنود أن المشاريع التي تقوم بها المؤسسة تمثل العمود الفقري لدعم أعمال المؤسسة الخيرية سواء في الرياض أو خارجها في جميع أنحاء المملكة وهذا هدفها، مشيرا إلى أن أي دخل يأتي من هذه المشاريع سيكون مخصصا للأعمال الخيرية، مستشهدا بعوائد البرج الأول لمؤسسة العنود التي تم توجيهه للأعمال الخيرية، وأضيفت إلى أعمال المؤسسة.

وقال الأمير سعود بن فهد "إن المؤسسة تدرس فكرة تطوير ضاحية بالكامل وتوفير جميع الخدمات والتي منها السكن وإعطاءها للمحتاجين، ولدينا مثال على ذلك حيث يوجد في المنطقة الشرقية مشروع الأمير محمد بن فهد للإسكان الخيري، حيث يعد مشروعا نموذجيا من حيث نوعية المباني التي تحفظ كرامة الفرد، مع توافر خدمات اجتماعية وطبية ومركز لتعلم المهن، وفي الرياض لدينا من أهم المشاريع الخيرية للإسكان وهو مشروع الأمير سلمان بن عبد العزيز أمير منطقة الرياض، ونحن نطلق على الأمير سلمان أب العمل الخيري ورائده، وللمؤسسة بفضل الله إسهامات في مثل هذه المشاريع الإسكانية الخيرية سواء في الرياض أو المنطقة الشرقية أو منطقة عسير، والفكرة بحد ذاتها ممتازة، حيث يمكن للمؤسسة أن تدرس هذه الفكرة الإسكانية بنوعيها الخيري والاستثماري، والمؤسسة بحمد الله موفقة للعمل الخيري، نسأل لها القبول لصاحبتها يرحمها الله".

وعن أعمال الجمعيات الخيرية الموجودة في المملكة، ووجوب التنسيق فيما بينها، أكد الأمير سعود بن فهد أهمية التنسيق ودوره في إنجاح وتكامل أعمالها، لافتا إلى دور المنافسة في الأعمال الخيرية نحو تقديم الأفضل والأحسن للمحتاجين في بلدنا، وحاليا يوجد مجلس تنسيقي بين جميع الجمعيات الخيرية في المملكة.

وعن وجود توجه لدى مؤسسة الأميرة العنود الخيرية لإنشاء جائزة تنافسية للعمل الخيري، أوضح رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لمؤسسة الأميرة العنود أن المؤسسة ترحب بأي فكرة تدعم العمل الخيري وتدرسها باهتمام، لافتا إلى أن الجائزة الحقيقية للعمل الخيري هي الخدمة التي تقدم للمحتاجين واحتساب الأجر والمثوبة عند الله عز وجل.

برج العنود الثاني:

وشهد الحفل توقيع اتفاقية إنشاء مجمع الأميرة العنود الخيري ومقر مؤسسة الأميرة العنود الخيرية مع إحدى الشركات الوطنية بتكلفة استثمارية 50 مليون ريال، حيث يشمل المجمع الخيري جامعا يتسع لأكثر من 1500 مصل مع ملحقاته، ومكتبة، وقبوا، مواقف للسيارات، إضافة إلى مقر المؤسسة على مساحة ستة آلاف متر مربع، تم تصميمه وفق أحدث المعايير الهندسية التي تضفي عليه طابعا جمالي يتواءم والوجه الحضاري للعاصمة السعودية.

من جانبه، عبر الدكتور يوسف الخزيم أمين عام مؤسسة الأميرة العنود الخيرية عن الجهود الكبيرة التي يبذلها الأمير محمد بن فهد رئيس مجلس الأمناء والأمير سعود بن فهد رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية في تنمية استثمارات المؤسسة، لافتا إلى أن هذه المشاريع تعد رافدا جديدا للعمل الخيري في المؤسسة، وتحقق الأهداف التي من أجلها أنشئت المؤسسة نحو بناء شبكة من التعاون المثمر مع مؤسسات العمل الخيري، مبينا أن المؤسسة تتعاون مع 300 مؤسسة خيرية داخل المملكة، حيث يبلغ حجم إنفاقها السنوي نحو 60 مليون ريال، مؤملا ارتفاعها مع الاستثمارات الجديدة إلى 100 مليون ريال سنويا، داعيا المولى القدير أن يغفر للأميرة العنود بنت عبد العزيز بن بن مساعد بن جلوي، وأن يجعل هذه الأعمال في موازين أعمالها.

I'm planning on taking some really good pictures of Riyadh's skyline, I've found this place where you can see all the towers currently U/C form far away at once .Hopefully tomorrow morning I'll have the chance to do that .

^^ I went this morning to this great spot that I talked about, I came prepared with my kit and everything, but the weather just ruined the whole plane ! the visibility was awful, I can barley see the towers since they're covered in fog or whatever, it's a huge disappointment, but I'm planning on doing it again in better weather conditions in the future . Today though, I ended up visiting many projects and taken photos of them from a close distance. :) wait for a massive update in the coming hour .. :)

ووقع العقد كل من شركة بصمة لإدارة العقارات ممثلة بخالد بن شاكر المبيض، المدير العام والشريك التنفيذي، ومؤسسة الأميرة العنود بنت عبد العزيز مساعد بن جلوي الخيرية ممثلة بالدكتور يوسف بن عثمان الحزيم، أمينها العام.
ويقع برج العنود 2 في قلب العاصمة الاستراتيجي على طريق الملك فهد بجانب برج العنود الشهير في حي العليا، وعلى أرض مساحتها 3100 مترمربع. ويتكون المبنى من 30 طابقا، تشتمل على عدد خمسة أقبية تتسع لعدد 300 سيارة ويتكون من ميزانين و12 طابقا إداريا (مكاتب) وعشرة طوابق (فندق نوبوا Nobu hotel) الشهير عالميا، وتقدر المساحة التأجيرية للبرج بنحو 32 ألف مترمربع.
وذكر خالد المبيض، أن المشروع يعد من أهم المشاريع المكتبية على مستوى المملكة من حيث جودة التنفيذ وما يتضمنه المشروع من أحدث التجهيزات المستخدمة عالميا.
وأكد المبيض، أن هذا المشروع له خصوصية من حيث الفخامة والرقي التي لا نظير لها إلا في عدد قليل من المشاريع، ويعد مثاليا للشركات الكبيرة التي تبحث عن التميز والرقي، وأن موقعه المميز وتصميمه الانسيابي من العوامل الرئيسة الجاذبة للاستئجار بالمشروع، إضافة إلى سعر المتر التأجيري الذي يعد منافسا لمثيله من المشاريع الأخرى.
يذكر أن شركة بصمة قد نجحت في تأجير عدد من المشاريع العقارية خلال زمن قياسي كما أنها تطبق المزيج التأجيري في جميع المجمعات التي سوقتها، كما أنها استخدمت طرقا غير تقليدية في التأجير؛ مما جعلها رائدة في ذلك المجال.
