Thanks for the thread Salman! It cost 2 billion riyals to transform the whole area into a cultural hotspot. They even used the same building methods as our grandfathers did in creating these buildings. :)

accully that can happen in a second just change your settings on your mobile camera ( k800i ) and done a painting but since you did it the hardway good work

The weather is perfect at night these past few days--the humidity is quite low--unlike last week which was hell.

The heat is actually OK this week at night...

Souq Waqif changes a lot in a very short period of time !!! :rock:

The place has become WAY more civilized with the completion on the arranged parking areas around the souq, the addition of pay parking service, the addition of lights between parking spaces and the completion of the underground parking spaces.

Its most Saudis first place to visit :), I remember even directing some people to the way, its surprisingly easy, from the Saudi border up to the souq you never change directions, its a perfect straight path all the way to the souq's edge.
