primed and ready with a pot of tea.

don't think it will really be UK focused - most likely lots on the US I'd expect.

edit: bugger, its a repeat of the Alan Yentob series from last year. Oh well, pleasant way to spend an hour.

Okay here is basically what part1 had in it
*DEEP BREATH*
Just finished watching part 1 and at the start it showed Burj dubai and hong kong lit up. then it showed the "gherkin" and LBT they then started to talk to Renzo piano about it. they started talking to people about the gothic building style in new york and chicargo and went on to the chrisler and Empire state buildings. :)

*REALEASED BREATH*

Not seen this before, recorded the first one so will likely try and do the others too..

Its not exactly a new tale, didn't learn anything new from it because that era of building is told more times than the book of Genesis, lol.. we all know what happened with the black thursday, ESB etc etc..

So do European and British cities get any more mentionings in future shows? Its just nice to see beautiful gothic buildings soaring high.. to then think all we got was a council blocks :@ :(

I think Liverpool gets a mention in the next programme but only because we were blowing up some 60s flats.

I watched this yesterday. Thanks for the heads up.
I was pretty dissapointed all he was doing was bragging about NYC and Chicago. He touched on London.
What I liked though was the interviews with Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. That was good :)
