Hi,
I'm soon coming to saudi-arabia for few weeks because of a work project. I have read all the basic information about the country but I'm still wondering, what kind of cloths foreign men should wear there? Is it ok to use normal long trousers like jeans etc.? (although jeans might be too hot :p). All my T-shirts are also relatively tight, not super tight, but it's still possible to see my (small) chest muscles through them. =) I don't want to look like an idiot there but I also don't want to buy lots of new clothes which I won't be wearing back home, unless it's absolutely necessary.

Jeans and T-shirts are okay. Even tight T-shirts are okay. So no, you don't have to wear any new cloths :)

Any kind of clothes that are decent can be worn there. Saudi Arabia is pretty much like every other country of this world... don't be apprehensive! I'm sure you'll return with a completely different impression of KSA!

Just dont wear anything that reveals your body, or low hanging jeans that show your boxers, etc etc to be on the safe side. other than, you shouldnt have any problems. Oh, i wouldnt recommend wearing visible jewelry either, like large chains, etc.

Saudi's a conservative country, but nothing like how the media portrays it.
