That's true from the pics it's not typical suburbia even though it has suburbia areas. One thing about the big gritty cities is that when you go to a home that looks like crap on the outside and then go on the inside it looks like a palace. That's what I like about the Philadelphia area, especially some clubs they look like a hole in the wall until you go on inside then you see crystal chandeleir, 14k gold bannisters, etc.. LOL. To get a nice picture perfect suburbia home in Philly will cost atleast 1 mill. 400k in the city is GRIT. Upper Darby is nice for GRIT Philadelphia and has great vibrancy.

No---69th St is in Upper Darby---the city limits are about 63rd St...actually Cobbs Creek, just to the west of 63rd St.

There IS some new development planned for the Market St (actually West Chester Pike...soon some steel going up!)

Nice pics.. I like the Darbi (plural for Darby?).

I had a great argument with somebody who suggested that Philly's highest numbered street was 69th. I said more around 84th.

I won :D

I remember riding the Septa train from 69th to Center City. I remember there was a decent sized Middle Eastern population in that area.
