its been some time since i posted some pics or contributed to the hellenic agora but i was away on holidays.....i took some nice pics of troodos mountains but i will post them another time.
i created this thread bc finally some parts of cyprus can be seen in hi-resolution(but still not the best) at google earth so i would like to post all the pics from google earth together so that we dont change threads all the time.
i will add more pics as soon as more parts of the island are available in hi-res.

third group of pics is about sprawling and suburbia....all pics are from the extreme outskirts of nicosia (about 12-15 km from city center).....blocks of houses and blocks of appartments are being built everywhere...its not exactly american style suburbia ,it has its own "style"...it looks ugly imo...

Interesting.... Cyprus is very well represented on google earth.

this photo was taken one year ago... today while i was observing nicosia i saw this constuction and it seems to be huge... can anyone go there and take some pics and post them here?if you didn't realise the construction is near the ministry of finance(is the big white building) actually in archigrammatia area

the project there is called gladstone residences.
its supposed to be high class apartments and houses.
i remember seeing the designs online ,but i cannot find them anymore.
the project is well advanced,should be finished in a few months.
i think the contractor is j&p
