I agree that they name the Hotel with some Kuwaiti historic site

The Montana Hotel. you've got to be kidding.

as you guys said, that name is sleazy and cheap. but it's also cheesy and doesn't match/suit the building. the hotel itself is dramatic and dynamic, so it deserves a better name. who knows, maybe it's going to be managed by an international chain. look at the Mubarak Tower near the Kuwait Stock Exchange: it's got insignia that name it as the Mubarak Tower and Mubarak Hotel, but it'll open as Le Méridien Mubarakiya soon. maybe this place will wind up as a Renaissance or Hilton or something.

by the way, does anyone have any news regarding the Costa Del Sol Hotel on the Shaab corniche? it topped out and exterior cladding work is now in progress. i wonder if there's a tenant? hmm.

Montana is the name of a state in the US,
I wonder if theres even a hotel in the US that has that name
ANywa hope this hotel really gets built and doesn;t just stay approved for month after month wht nothing happening

many hotels in kuwait have ugly names. like "kuwait contenental hotel", "oasis hotel", "hussa house", "ghani palace", "safir international", "safir palace", etc.

Heres the info You asked for the Rifae Towers a.k.a. Montana Hotel:

- The Hotel Tower will have 36 floors and the building height will be 166m.

- The Hotel Apartments Towe will be smaller and will have have 34 floors and the height of 158m.

Both towers will have a panoramic lift - one each, the rest would be normal high speed lifts.
