This is what happen just after two hourse of havy rain in Kyiv.
The problem is with Kyiv rain drainage system, which needs a lot of renowation, but most important it needs a lot of simple cleaning, as people throw a lot of rubbish into it, so it was blocked by it.
Looks like Venice:)
The area shown on pictures is area around Levoberezhna metro station, where super tall should be built. People have jokes of how come they want to built 80-stories high-rise but could not simply clean the sewage. This flood happened not only in this area but also in many other areas around Kyiv.

Hey, I was just looking at those pics. I'll post some more later, I think this is just another one of many of Kyiv's floods. Btw, does anyone know how the local residents are affected?

It doesn't look that bad, but it's not a good think nevertheless.

It is amazing to see pictures of floods. All that water.
In my part of Australia we are in drought and have been for a number of years. Although it has rained it is never enough or it falls in the wrong place. Some of the dams in my area are down to 28% to 30% of water. Local councils are restricting people to water their gardens with buckets only. If you are caught using a hose you have to pay a fine.
Hope things for you get better
