#5 is much better than the others. It shows the two park areas, east and west of Glendale Blvd, connected by a wide pedestrian bridge. It makes it into one large continuous park.

The option they don't show is connecting the two freeway down to the Hollywood by continuing it along Glendale Blvd. This was the original plan, but it was finally canned for good a few years ago because of neighborhood protests and the growing realization that more freeways does not equal less traffic.

I live around the area. They closed down Waterloo St. (next to the church) and you can't turn there anymore which makes going to the park and dog park in Silverlake so hard. I hope it gets opened again if any of thsese proposals go through. The ones with the bridge removed are the best.

^^agreed, option 4 would probably be the best for traffic, being that there would only be one light. but i like 6 the best as it is easy for a ped to get around and it looks very nice as well. i understand that the one of the major wants of this project is to have a ped friendly intersection

I was thinking #3, because it gets rid of that left turn.
