Rx727sfl2002 June 26th, 2006, 08:05 AM water wont affect the concrete it actually keeps it from cracking while curing (drieing) djmanu June 26th, 2006, 11:41 AM YES :) , Nimby :okay: , my friend :righton: , The Biscayne Wall continues higher, I believe either the 600 Biscayne Freedom Tower will be next, or the Paramount Park condo tower, but I also believe these two will be just breaking ground late this year , or around early next year after the 2007 Superbowl game :applause: . When are they scheduled to break ground ? dach2k5 June 26th, 2006, 05:17 PM Something interesting that i found out recently. Concrete does't harden from drying. I always thought that it was from the evaporation of water that left the concrete hard. it is actually a chemical reaction that takes place with the ingredients that make it up including the water. That is why the correct term is curing when you are talking about the hardening of concrete. Rx727sfl2002 June 26th, 2006, 09:50 PM exactly and that is why slurry walls can be poured becuase the clay rises while the conocrete sinks and the mixture doesnt affect the consistency of the concrete... ChuckScraperMiami#1 June 27th, 2006, 12:44 AM When are they scheduled to break ground ? DJ Man U :hi: , to tell you the truth :nocrook: , The 600 Biscayne Freedom Tower :applause: is advertising alot in the Latin Magazines, and I believe they will break ground IMO by early Next year , just in time for SuperBowl 41, in february, 2007 :bowtie: :cheer: .
