I know there is a road named Haiphong in HK. Hanoi must be the other. I think there are a few roads HK named after VN cities.

Thanks! I was actually considering a trip to Vietnam when I was in Hong Kong last year, but there are just so many places to go and so little time. I'm sure I'll hit Vietnam in the future. It's so close to HK after all!

those small cities like HK and Singapore usually name the streets after famous landname all around the world ,coz their histories r short, not have many heroes like VN. for example in S'pore there are Hongkong streets, Holland streets,...

'small' here is in term of area square & historical perspective.

I thought we talked about this
because Hongkong used to trade with all those Vietnamese cities in the 19th century that's why they have all the names, I don't think anyone wants so use a foreign names to name themselves for no reason

just like the "Korean highway" in saigon, the Korean funded that highway so we named it Korean highway, I hope someday they funded a Ho statue, so we can call it Korean statue
