Thanks to Google Earth for fixing thier Johannesburg CBD images we can now enjoy some yummy JHB pics. Which inspired me to make a little bit of a Johannesburg tour.

Yah google took forever to update Joburg. It appears to be a recent photo because the Mandela Bridge is definitely up and the Carr Street on/off ramps have been completed, but Brickfields still seems to be under construction, as well as the Metro Mall where all the taxis are stuffed into.

its weirdly common...spoke to someone the other day regarding buenos aires...and it ended up with him being born in joburg...at the argentinean embassy but still he was in my eyes still south african.

good work marco..but if ure going to be posting only links and using this forum for that purpose then i suggest u dont...however if ud like to post images etc and comment and perhaps post some articles in the johannesburg discussion ..then thats great...unfortunately IMO this thread is not just means of advertizing what you have done elsewhere without actually participating. that doesnt mean however we do not appreciate your links..your links are def welcome in the joburg discussion forum but do not need an entirely new thread.

Isn't there an Afrikaans community in Argentina? I once remember seeing a doccie about that... they emigrated there donkeys years ago.
