“At this stage, we can satisfy about 30% of the requests that come our way. With this new facility, this percentage should increase dramatically.” Griesel believes that a large proportion of the appeal for holding corporate events at Montecasino is the ‘one-stop' entertainment experience it offers, together with safe and secure parking and easy access through main arterial routes. “And this offering is becoming even more diverse in terms of fulfilling the business tourist's needs with all the different elements that make up the new development.”

Not sure, but was probably too high for those suburbanites.

I don't really like it because it's Tuscan. This and Bedford Square could be sisters because they're practically the same design and idea. Both are Tuscan squares with central focal points, surrounded by upper end retail and entertainment.

But I like the concept and that it's open air. And the theatre looks cool.

This has been completed for a while now. And it's not so bad, even with the fake Tuscan theme running through!

And if anything, the theatre rocks! Going to see the Lion King on friday night. yay :)

IMO the theatre looks so so kitch! and the carpets look as tho they were given away for free and monty said "SCORE!" The inside looks very 1960's/70's. In sharp contrast to the bar! I was expecting something a but more classy. Then again, it is monty...But enjoy the show, its quite good..

It is a casino. Have you seen other casino's? They are gaudy, tacky, without taste and over the top. No-one ever expected this to be any different.

It aint that bad, its a nice break from the normal world, yes the design may lack vision here & there but I went here on a week day night after 2 days of meetings & I must say it is really a break from reality, althought the place was buzzing it did help the nerves calm down, ok fine I lost a few bob in the casino, but it was a good break

I hate it. It is huge. It doesnt fit in with the surrounding area. Just one big bland block. But, it is a casino. And no casino will win any sleek design awards. I must admit, after I started seeing monte for what it was, it started to grow on me. Still hate it, but with a tad of affection... hehe

I went to the Teatro Montecasino last friday. I didn't think it was that bad at all. For me it was as big and as grand as the Met in NYC.
