Manchester - Toronto Pearson

This flight originated in London Gatwick but made a stopover in Manchester. More than half the passengers got off in Manchester, which meant it would take some time to board the flight again. In the meantime, I took pictures of the aircraft moving about on the tarmac.

It was about an hour wait for passengers to get off and the new set to board. Meanwhile, I observed the activities on the tarmac and snapped a few photos.

The Canadian government would love to know how much they can tax people, so this form not only asks questions about the standard farm visits, it also requires details of how much people bought overseas.

It was a cloudy day in Toronto, but the descent wasn't too bad.

The plane went south past Toronto and made a 90 degree turn over Lake Ontario to the west. Then it made another 90 degree turn towards the north to land from the south. Hence, from my side of the plane, I saw the downtown core.

The battery gave out at the moment of touchdown ... perfect timing just as I was done!

Service was all right. It was a charter flight, so I didn't expect much. Food was decent. But considering the cheap price I paid - CAD$550 for a roundtrip including taxes, I think I got a good deal.

You know i saw that & i was going to ask the same question!! But yeah, i knew they played a little bit of cricket in Canada. They have a team at the world cup usually. Still suprising to see it.

P.S. Thanks for the pics!! :)
