Hello. I am doing a quick poll to see how many people are interested to see/purchase more residential development projects coming up in HCMC. Pricing above US$1,200 psm (high end) District 1, 3, An Phu.

What type of unit size are you interested in purchasing?

Is there an over supply in the market?

Would you live in a condominium or house with garden?

What would you like to see happening in the residential market.

:bash: Thanks!

Get rid of those ugly slums and skinny tubehouses in the CBD and build more quality residential units/condomoniums further outside the centre. It will also free up more space for high quality office buildings, public infrastructure and parks.

I want to live in the provinces of Dong Nai or Binh Duong, outside of Vietnam, and take the fast bullet train. Saigon is crowded.

Can I buy an apartment/condo for under $50,000 in Vietnam?

Are Viet Kieu allowed to buy home but only live in the home for a few months of the year during vacation?

It's not that crowded in suburban areas

I want to have 2 homes, one in America and one in Vietnam and like to travel back and forth.

I like Vietnam government to embrace Viet Kieu and make Vietnam feel like home for Viet Kieu.

Viet Kieu can help VN so much if we are welcomed.

BetterFuture, there are nice places closer to town as well like An Phu or Phu My. Dong Nai and Bin Duong are a bit far (but of course that depends where you work) and at the moment and there aren't any good quality development projects. I believe one Sporean developer had invested there so watch out for future development. In regards to government embracing Viet Kieu, you betcha! Viet Kieu can invest and purchase just like a local. They are the ones who is bringing in the $$ into Vietnam. Dont think there are restrictions, right?! Do correct me if I am wrong.

Which area are you interested in?
Are you / would you move back to live in HCMC?

Love those villas in the city. Hope they stay, together with the trees! Worry that with all the development coming up some of these villas will make way for new developments. In the end the city landscape will suffer. As it is new buildings are sprouting everywhere and not in congruent with the rest of the city. What the city needs is a better plan.

muchas gracias

Why don't they build supertall residential buildings?
