In 1995 the Technical University of Darmstadt started a project with the aim to reconstruct a few synagogues, which were destroyed by the Nazis, on the computer. Imo the site is pretty interesting, you have old pics, a few background informations and the in- and outside computer simualtions of the destroyed architectural beauties.
