The monorail, which significantly adds to the public transport, especially for tourists, it convinced me that this could work at the gold coast.

Sky Lobby, or at least thats what Im calling it, its the same level as the bridge and you have to change lifts here to continue to the top floors I think.

Batu Ferringhi, the beach resort stretch of Penang, the development going on from here into Georgetown is impressive, not super tall like the goldcoast, but some very nice developments.

All I can say is that I highly recommend Malaysia for a holiday, there is so much going on in that place, and its a perfect example of a previously third world country that is well on its way to transforming itself into a developed country. They really know how to build infrastructure over there, and as in most developed asian countries, the PT system is fantastic, from a tourist point of view, and the roads shit all over ours, especially between the airport and KL.

That first pic is great! If ou go to Malaysia again, you must go to the Cameron Highlands (very picturesque) and Teman Negara, a rainforest.

the petronas towers are totally the jewels of kuala lumpur ;]
