Yep, it's got it all, rowhomes, industry out the wazoo(and former industrial factories that have been emptied out/revived as new enterprises), and is a good mix of architecture. It's heavily influenced by Philadelphia, being about 50 minutes northwest of it on the edge of Montgomery County. It's surprisingly urban for those who have never visited, as its 20K population and pedestrian friendly environs really make it so most of the borough/city is within reach. It has a few mid-rises, but much of hte charm of its downtown is that there is so much stuff that is straight out of the 50s, but still in use/well maintained. There are also probably the most American flags in this town per capita. It's just amazing how many there are flying.

I hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed taking hte pics.

Very nice pictures, although the town looks a bit abandoned, it certainly has some charms, like the church, which looks very impressive and big!
Pottstown is not far away from Doylestown.
Btw, how do u get there, do u have to take route 611?

Wow...so many solid buildings, great architecture and density.

These types of towns are so rare in the post-automobile America.

I still can't believe that this isn't known about Pennsylvania as somewhat of a tourist attraction in itself. Everything Midwest, South, and West seems to be so spread out, even much large cities wouldn't have as much character and density as these little 'quintessential Pennsylvania' towns.
