those are lights on spire turned down towards fin section? that makes sense. will light up the fins at night much like a torch?

I'd be very surprised if lights weren't going to be placed inside the glass spiral. I'm expecting some sort of colorful LED animation.

Final certification was given to the Torch today, so it is officially open as of today for full usage/rentals etc.

The construction and internal fitting cost per square feet in the lobby must be much, much higher than what owners paid in the residential floors. There is no way you can deliver such quality in their unit at the price they paid.

Investors should have known years ago that 5-star luxury claims in shiny brochures were unrealistic to begin with.

And yes, apartments look small and probably many are, but 1200 sqft is 1200 sqft. Investors shouldn't complain about area because they decided to go for whatever they have instead of the big penthouse unit.

PS: Since both the price and exchange rates have been volatille throughout the year, the exact month of the year we're talking about, will help giving you a more accurate answer .... also please, what kind of view you are ''interesed' in, and around which floor. Balcony, no balcony, 1, 2, 3 bedroom or a pentouse .... :dunno:

That swimming pool looks like a bowling pin, and the jacuzzi is the ball aproaching from behind.

Great pics, will the top of the torch have some sort of lightning feature?

^^ THe top feature was supposed to be made out of LED panels to be used for lighting and advertising of some type, however so far we haven't seen any indication that they made it on the final product. The top part is as dark (at night) as ever.

^^ Thanks, the building itself is a great addition for the tallest block, but the LED panels would be "the cherry on the top of that cake" to make it even more impressive.

No roof feature light yet, they say it will light up but don't know when.

^^not worth it. The current light is ver dull greenish neon light and hardly noticable. :cripes: If that's supposed to be it, then the torch has been decapitated, and should be called a club from now. Club in the sense of stick that is.

I've not taken any pictures since I'd be too ashamed to post them. I was so looking forward to it, and expected a proper landmark feature on top. Such a nice top. Right now it's a proper disgrace.

I still give it the benefit of the doubt, but doubts are increasing every week after handover.

This is my quick mockup of The Torch. Totally inexpensive, including lighting the two mechanical floors in color costing next to nothing. Total amount maybe $25,000. Small money, big impact.

The initial idea with the video screens in the crown would have been half a Million to one Mill. dollars plus programming expenses I reckon. Could have easily been more depending on the screen quality.

I have just come back from collection my keys and renting property, the building in general is very messy, very un-finished bad work-manship.

My apartment was awful grouting, paint work, main window (patio) not fitting, the building is filthy I guess that is expected, very unhapppy.

There is no lighting on the building at night as far as I can see and that is a real low point, the marina in general is a bit boring it needs the building lightened up a bit

The Torch is visibly filling up now. At night, the lower third (mostly 1-beds?) looks pretty well occupied already like any other more mature tower in the marina. The upper part is getting there. Great news - I thought it was going to take longer.

The neighboring Marina Crown has 95% occupancy rate from what I've heard.

.....maybe one day somebody will even light up the damn torch thing on top!!!!!
