The Karam Tower is allready Built... its been around for a while

No, all the BG plots are currently occupied. All of BG is inside the BCD an it was not walled-in at the time. The only plots walled-in were the Saifi II and a small part of the Landmark.

The parking lot in the picture is still land that has not been planned for, but it will have to be an amazing project.

Beirut needs green spaces and renovation of old buildings.

^^ hell yeah , its so depressing looking at old gray buildings and they need to plant so many Tree's and Gardens. not Build some crap Conceret Building in very damn empty plot

maybe make a law that all low-rise/medium-rise buildings must either have a rooftop garden OR a red roof. OR i guess solar panels ...btw a lebanese guy was one of the pioneers of the solar cell...weird how not many lebs use it. it would save so much energy!

I've been planing to visit Lebannon for some time now, but I can't find time. But, I think I will come to Beirut next year. Maybe, it will be best to come in spring or autum, because I don't like snow ( in Serbia we have enough snow already ) but I like beaches and sun...
But, I am not a ordinary tourist, I don't walk around with a camera and I don't listen to a tourist guide, I am kind of guy who walks alone or rents a car and drive around the city, even if he isn't been there before, just to feel the essence of Beirut and to feel the street life and to see the real Beirut face... ;)

I have browsing the Lebannon forum for some time now, great informations and great pictures ( my favorite are those from 50's and 60's, because of classic cars :) ). I have also learned about Lebannon history, expecial those civil war years ( 1975-90 ), so I am very up to date with situation in your country. There are many smilaritys between Serbia and Lebannon, both, politicaly and historicly, and I have impression that the people are the same, and I am looking foward to find out! :)





BTW, here are the pictures of my city, Novi Sad, second largest in Serbia ( about half milion people ). They say it is most beautiful city in Serbia, and I agree,... :)

no, its the oldest tower of them all. infact, its one of the oldest towers in Beirut.
It's the white one shown from the side, with the tallest transmition antenna
