Like several other biggies proposed for Brisbane, this Seidler creation joined the list of never to be builts in Brisbane.

It was proposed in 1985 for Margaret and Albert St. I'm not sure if it goes into the site of the now proposed Vision Tower, but it may have according to the renders. There's a tower behind it as well.

It was proposed to be 52 storeys tall and cost $300 million. Looks alot like Perth's CP1.

I took these at an exhbition dedicated to Seidler, that has been held here in Sydney.

The only "landmark" about this tower would of been its height. Then again it was the 80's...

I don't mind it. It has some similarities to Chicago's Sears Tower.

Yer it does resemble the sears tower, a shame it wasnt built.

It takes all of Rivercity's site and at least some of Vision's.

I love how they suggest the site is out of the golden site and how by the 90's it would be considered the centre. We are so desperate for large sites in the CBD now.

The polished marble facade sounds classy, could have looked stunning if built....
