As no one has commented yet I will do it here based on the pics. I think this is a strange building considering the mixture of old fashioned 60's facade on one hand (see last pic) and the modern 'outcropping' (see first two pics) which you can see on lots of buildings these days.
It's a pity that the building itself is located between shabby or ugly facades as is visible in the first pic.
The entrance party looks a little bit chaotic to me but on the other hand a non symmetrical element can add value to a building.
The concrete part has two colors and is very 'grey'. Perhaps this looks nice on a grand scale but looking from the position the pics were taken it should have been better. I don't understand why the grey facade immediately next to it has a well defined horizontal lining and the concrete itself not or vice versa (It has horizontal lining but three times as wide).
For me this could have been better but given the difficult location I give it a 7.

The sides ruined the whole building. :( 7.5/10. I would've given it a 9 if the sides were different... but not worst. :)

hey, maybe they were assuming that insular life (the bldg next to it) and the one on the other side are going to be torn down and be replaced by towers which are more or less as tall as this building. so instead of building a beautiful side which is going to be covered by a tall building later, they just made it plain. and save money.

8/10 for me. though the sides don't give justice to the facade, we have to admit that most people (esp non-forumers and non-scraper aficionados) looks only at the facade.

Guys, the crappy side must be bec of the fact that this is originally planned to be a residential tower. i dunno what happen that it became an office tower. This is where Hewlett-Packard is. They occupy some floors at 7-12, and some others at the uppermost floors. Not so sure. Maybe someone from HP could correct this.

Some night pics...
