I magically landed in Brooklyn last weekend to do some random exploring. It was a daring pursuit, since I didn't even bother to bring a map.

The tour begins on bustling Fulton Street, which has wide sidewalks on both sides lined with shops. Buses run along the 2 lanes in the middle.

And behold .. a surprise near the end of the mall!

I then ventured around the neighborhood to see what to photograph :

This skyscraper is being renovated into condominiums.

There are some hidden gems all around the neighborhood. The pattern repeats itself over and over again. I thought there was nothing interesting, walk a bit, then bump into something like this.

Funny, Brooklyn as an independent city would be one of the densest in all of America.

Brooklyn sure is looking great! That building being converted into condos is cool, it would be neat to have a condo in that building, but I am sure it would be quite expensive.
