more shahrak-e gharb?! that place is getting all of the development lol... it looks like a good project... wonder how well itl be kitted out inside..

BTW how far outside Tehran is Shahrak-e Gharb?

It's not outside Tehran, it's on the hemmat highway.

well , almost all buildings in tehran seems to be concrete , why not build glass buildings ??

Iono... Could never explain it myself, perhaps they want to keep the concrete industry afloat lol

I agree with you tho, glass is a lot better, especially in Tehran.. concrete buildings after a few years go grey because of Tehrans intense air poloution, looks really crappy... for example the Atisaz complex in Evin, Tehran

Btw, I believe Concrete buildings are prefered cuz they are cheaper to build and maintain.

^ Carving there way through a mountain range has it's complications... I think the Milad Tower is a more appropriate example of their ridiculousness...

well i think is more political, coz it only took 9yrs to build the rail way from north to south of iran under reza shah in 1939, and that was the old days with no technical capabilities of today!
