Beautiful as always herodotus. Pittsburgh is looking MUCH better in these pictures durring summer when everythign is green. A city in rolling green hills is a beaitufl sight to see. I really hope you manage to get some pics of the city in a few months with fall foliage. THAT would probably be the best photo-op for a city. Great job, I especially like these pictures;

And this one is my favorite. Out of all of the types of housing stock I've seen in your pictures of Pittsburgh; these single family (yet still very close) late 19th century beauties are the best. What are the neighborhoods where you'd find a lot of houses like this?

stunning presentation, as usual. one of my cousins lives in pittsburgh with her family.
she loves the city, as do i. thanks again.

Very fine pictures. The predominance of sturdy 19th century row houses & brick architecture make Pittsburgh look like a much bigger city than it has become after all these decades of depopulation. Hard to tell by looking at the pictures that Pittsburgh has lost half its population. Brick cities were really built to last!
