Topaz is nearing completion. And it is so successful that the Jade will be u/c soon. Exactly the same design.

nope. maybe in colour scheme. I think it is terribly boring, and I havent seen Topaz yet, but if it looks like the render? Blugh. I got my information from the developers. Topaz is sold out, and they expect Jade to follow suit.

its a pity, cos its not that hard to make the building look good, but they are bland and cheapish looking, not really worthy of apartments starting over R2m

It's their location which makes them R2m.

And why is sunset towers nowhere on our lists? 11F, topped out, just accross the road from topaz, jade and the regent and the emperor...

You need to either 1) search for the thread in the abyss (and it really is an abyss) of SSC.com - I found googling it like hell normally produces a result or 2) make a thread for it.

that's why it's uberly important that we keep track of things in the Links to Development page. the moment you post a development, you must tell Michael to stick it up.

Any idea if Topaz has any untis still up for sale? & how much they going for?

Topaz's units sell for R2million, but they are sold out. I spoke to the developer a few months ago. And it seems Jade is sold out as well.

These two buildings are groing nicely side by side (jade and topaz). Accross the road Sunset Towers is topped out (at more than 11F i think). And next to sunset towers two new cranes are going up on top of a big basement excavation. So another tall one is going up, and we havent heard about it!

When I was in Sandton on saturday saw all these cranes flying all over the place. As I said previously, we really are gonna be suprised in 2010. Sandton skyline will be different all together.
