shes not Persian, shes like 2nd or 3rd generation Persian. shes Israeli born and so is her parents. I saw it on nbc, she even had the #1 hit over there, ill look it up, she has an Israeli name too if i remember correctly

She singed in french movie "la vérité si je mens" with a bunch of spanish gipsy guys, the song was actually pretty good for a mainstream one like that!
