Looks nice, well-kept houses in striking colours...but why are the roads that lead to those beautiful houses not tarred? Lüderitz is Namibia´s third largest city, right?

I'd only think it's around #8 in population. Cities as Keetmanshoop, Rehoboth and Gobabis are slighty larger in population. It's difficult enough to get good photos of Namibian cities, we could only imagine that we would go through a stressful time trying to locate photos on the NET of the cities I just mentioned.

These are the well known Namibian cities:

Windhoek's population: 230,000
Walvis Bay's population: 45,400
Swakopmund's population: 35,000
Luderitz's population: 12,900

Low population density-it's a pretty big country, but it's only got about 2.5million people.

They were designed to look german, so that is probably where you see the connection.

namibia cities brag something that no african city can, cleanliness and order, i think it is because of the low population density and responsible leader/citizens

VERY NICE STORM SHADOW. THE COLOURS OF THE HOMES ARE GREAT, BUT A LITTLE BIT LONELY, BUT VERY NICE PICTURES THOUGH

IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE CAPE TOWN. NICE.

It's a nice small city, I gather it's #3 or #4 in Namibia. It's rather isolated too. There are some abandoned towns somewhere to the east if Luderitz, the sand dunes and time encroached it.

Too german - buildoze it all. We want everything to look like ambermoronia...

On a serious note: This is an amazing small town. Friendly people, safe, clean - breathtaking scenery!

You right on the spot Nairoberry, the only time our cities will be like those in Namibia it will be when our leaders become responsible. It's amazing on how beutiful a city can be by just being clean.

Interesting city.

Where are the Namibians though? It's like they built their country then left!
Maybe that's why it's so clean, there's nobody to mess it up lol.
