Cầu thang máy nhà 11B, khu tái định cư Nam Trung Yên đập vào mắt mọi người là dòng chữ: HH- bánh cuốn, xôi xéo phòng 70, bán gạo phòng 11, cắt may phòng 12. Sảnh phòng 1203, một xô nước, hai con ngan đã được vặt lông. Chị Phương, chủ nhà không ngần ngại: “Nhà có 5 khẩu, lên chung cư không có việc nên đành mở hàng bún, phở”.

Anh Đằng, cán bộ quản ký nhà đưa ra con số đáng giật mình, hiện có khoảng 30% trong số 500 hộ dân đã đến ở dùng bếp than.

Lùi xuống tầng 11, thấy hàng loạt cửa hiệu: Bún cua, bánh mì giò chả; giặt khô là hơi. Theo anh Đằng hiện có khoảng 20 hộ kinh doanh tại gia trên các tòa nhà.

Ông Lương Văn Hữu, Giám đốc Xí nghiệp quản lý KĐT cho biết, tình trạng “họp chợ” trên chung cư có nguyên nhân khách quan từ việc KĐT Trung Hòa-Nhân Chính chưa có chợ mà chỉ có có siêu thị nhỏ, 5 gian ki-ốt.

Về chủ quan, nhiều hộ dân khi lên chung cư không nghề nghiệp nên họ buộc phải mở cửa hàng tại gia. Bán hàng trên các chung cư cao tầng nảy sinh nhiều vấn đề phức tạp như: Tiền điện dùng cho thang máy tăng, gây mất vệ sinh môi trường.

Sau 3 năm đưa vào sử dụng, 5 tòa nhà với trên 500 căn hộ thuộc khu tái định cư Định Công đã xuống cấp nghiêm trọng. Nhà N014B, phần sảnh khoảng 50m2 bị lún toàn bộ, gạch lát đã đua nhau bật khỏi nền đất.

Hệ thống cống thoát nước xung quanh tòa nhà cũng xoắn hình vỏ đỗ, nghiêng ngả, đổ vỡ. Bùn đen và nước thải xộc lên mùi xú uế. Cạnh đó, cột đèn trang trí nghiêng ngả, ba bóng đèn trong tổng 4 bóng của cột đèn đã bị vỡ tan.

Anh Nguyễn Quang Khanh, Tổ phó Tổ quản lý nhà tái định cư Định Công bức xúc, chỉ cơn mưa nhỏ là cống tắc, nước thải ngập chân tòa nhà.

Xung quanh các nhà tái định cư, trên những bồn cây, thảm cỏ, hoa cứt lợn và cỏ dại mọc um tùm. Nhiều hộ dân cũng đồng loạt trồng rau đay, rau bí, rau rền, rau muống. Đây có lẽ là sự sáng tạo chỉ có ở khu tái định cư Định Công.

Một cán bộ quản lý nhà giải thích, thứ nhất là do chất lượng công trình kém. Thứ hai, phải kể đến sự phối hợp quản lý công trình chưa tốt. Ví như, phía ngoài nhà ( sân, cây xanh, thảm cỏ, chiếu sáng) hiện chưa được bàn giao cho Sở GTCC. Hạ tầng xuống cấp, môi trường ô nhiễm, cảnh quan bị tàn phá. Nỗi khổ này người dân tái định cư phải gánh chịu.

Ông Dương Mai Lâm, phòng 703 nhà A5 khu tái định cư Đền Lừ tỏ ra ngạc nhiên: “Tôi về ở từ tháng 12/2005 nhưng chỉ đóng tiền nước tháng 1 là 36.000 đồng. Sau đó không có ai đến thu tiền”.

Điều này làm cho ông Lâm buồn hơn là vui. Đây là hiện tượng phổ biến xảy ra tại khu tái định cư Đền Lừ với hàng trăm hộ dân.

Ông Nguyễn Hữu Tuấn, Tổ trưởng Tổ quản lý nhà Đền Lừ cho biết, khi bàn giao nhà, Xí nghiệp quản lý nhà đã ký hợp đồng với Xí nghiệp nước sạch Hai Bà Trưng (tại nguồn) sau đó bơm lên các hộ dân và thu tiền nước.

Tuy nhiên, theo quy định mới của thành phố, Xí nghiệp quản lý nhà không có chức năng thu tiền nước sạch.

Ông Nguyễn Thành Hải, Phó GĐ Ban QLDA quận Hai Bà Trưng (chủ đầu tư) cho biết, Khu tái định cư Đền Lừ đã được hoàn thành rải rác các tòa nhà từ năm 2000 và đến năm 2004 thì hoàn thành toàn bộ. Tuy nhiên, hiện việc bàn giao hệ thống cấp nước sạch nội bộ tại các chung cư chưa thực hiện được.

Để đảm bảo sinh hoạt cho dân, Xí nghiệp quản lý nhà vẫn nai lưng chịu tiền điện bơm nước và bù hao hụt từ đồng hồ tổng đến các hộ dân. Đã có nhiều cuộc họp thống nhất bàn giao hệ thống cấp nước sạch sang Sở GTCC quản lý và ký hợp đồng cung cấp nước sạch cho từng hộ dân nhưng đến nay chưa thực hiện được.

Trường hợp tương tự xảy ra tại khu tái định cư Trung Hòa - Nhân Chính (công ty đầu tư và phát triển nhà số 6 làm chủ đầu tư).

Cho đến nay khu tái định cư này đã có gần 20 tòa nhà từ 6 đến 17 tầng được đưa vào sử dụng nhưng đơn vị kinh doanh nước sạch chỉ cấp đến bể chung. Việc bơm nước lên các hộ dân do Xí nghiệp quản lý nhà thực hiện. Việc thu tiền nước lại do chủ đầu tư đảm nhiệm.

Theo đánh giá của công ty kinh doanh nước sạch thì hệ thống cấp nước nội bộ của khu tái định cư Trung Hòa - Nhân Chính có rất nhiều bất cập như: trạm bơm được thiết kế, lắp đặt không đúng kỹ thuật, không đảm bảo an toàn lao động.

Cũng theo đơn vị này, thì hầu hết hệ thống cấp nước nội bộ tại các khu nhà phải được thay thế, sửa chữa, bổ sung. Mức đầu tư nâng cấp hệ thống cấp nước sạch lên đến 1,3 tỷ đồng.

Tuy nhiên, đại diện chủ đầu tư cho rằng, những đề nghị này là bất khả thi. Bởi lẽ, đây là dự án dùng vốn ngân sách, dự án được thực hiện theo đúng thiết kế kỹ thuật.

Phải chăng vì những khu đô thị này được gắn cái tên “tái định cư” nên các cơ quan chức năng không mặn mà cho lắm.

"getting panoramic view"? Do you mean "taking a panorama photo" :)
It's very hard to get panorama photos of these streets. You have to rent a "Xe Om" to carry you along the street.... You see that these streets are always dense and chaotic...

is that what those are called in vn, the ones in GROWING UP #02 pic, i like them, gives an exotic feeling, something like in a jungle and out of the ordinary

apropos Opera Business Center...I saw that they have put blue windows ! ...I wonder if that's going to be alright!? ...but the main building is very bright or white...not creamy at all ! ...hopefully the result will good enough since it has become an A-grade office building ! ...I guess that the Opera Company (or something like that) will start building the Opera Plaza when have finished the Opera Business Center...they have already prepared the construction zone of it !

hình của bác có mây có trời có hoa có gió nên nhìn nó có cảm tình, không giống như mấy bác khác chụp buildings mà quên đi fung shui, trời mưa cũng chụp, ẹ dễ sợ

The Hanoi university of technology is "Dai hoc Bach khoa Ha Noi" . I think you've already known where the university is :) And the French architecture buildings are on Le Thanh Nghi street (Hai Ba Trung dist.), next to Bach Khoa stadium ;)

Dai Hoc ai muon vao khong duoc, lam gi phai cho tien ong bao ve.
Ta ve VN ta vao het: Dai Hoc Thu DUc Saigon, Dai Hoc Can Tho, Dai Hoc Da LAt, Dai Hoc Long Xuyen.

but I have to say, after looking at HN and DaLat universities I felt so bad for Thu Duc, the biggest university in the biggest city locates in a shitty area.

they said the hanoi national convention center is among 3 of the largest in South east asia, with many rooms, too bad we don't get to see them all. forget the small rooms, They mentions around 3-5 big rooms which can hold over 1000 people.
I forget which newspaper now.

Hanoi isnt neat, Bang... on the contrary, I think it's even too chaotic, noisy and dusty currently. It'll take Hanoi several decades to develop into a travel destination in Asia as you've said.
But anyhow, Hanoi's still a charming land :wink2:

I think it's totally possible and not only in utopia that Hanoi could become a travel destination of Asia.We have a fabulous architectural heritage left by the French and by our ancesters.So i agree with Bang that Hanoi will be no longe a classy destination of Asia because she have all her charms to seduce everybody.BUT of course under certains conditions of VIsion of Leaders,synchronisation capacity of the city to absorb the migration flux,cultural development etc.....;But i'm optimistic about that.:banana: ^^

I think that too.The main reason is the Manor Hanoi is build in a completely new environment with all the new urban zone being constructed around and huge boulevard.Or i just admit that the Manor Saigon is not at the its expected value.When i was visiting Saigon this summer to see my family member,i was a bit disappointed by the whole architectural background of the construction site.It was a mess around since it locates just beside ....the Hanoi Highway if my memory is good and
you know what you have only big trucks circulating on this boulevard.I can't imagine a classy resident could be placed in an environment like that.

but they are starting phase 2... so the whole area around the manor saidon is gonna completely change

I'm talking about the overall of the city's architecture.....Hanoi is very uniformed with the French and asian architectures. chaotic in the spiritual sense......people can go to all the cities in asia and search for their identiies.....but with hanoi they don't have to.....hanoi has an identity......Saigon too I think is slowing losing its identity like other asian cities

hopefully saigon see the examples from other asian cities and makes sure they keep wut identity the city has left

You, Bang, I think they mean the wireless router, even with a router, you still ne ed a High Spe d Internet connection, unless your neighbor is willing to share with you. If they do, you have to be 100 meters away from them, if more you don't get their wireless signal.

I miss being in VN walk around saigon and talk to the little kids...those street kids...they're pretty smart....some of them speak 8 languages. and little kids they're so fresh....not shit in their heads like adults.
over here if you talk to little kids they call you child molester....western countries are odds

If you go to Tay Ninh, or central highland in VN you'll see lot of children with natural dirty-blond hair. I found it quite fascinating.

i know that factor but you can't apply that to the whole town....i think they've been working in the field under the sun for too long.
and I'm not talking about light brown or dark red..............but they're actually blond.

can you take pistures of chilren playing soccer? i dont know if its a common sight from where u live or not, but when i went back to Vietnam in 2005 i see them playing in the rice field, although i could not play with them cus i was on a trip to somewhere. I love playing soccer barefoot in the rain, its quite fun.

I like the EOS 400D but I have no time now to take photo so I will wait for the next model 450D, 500D, ...D At that time the price will be very cheap for a great camera! ^^ :cheers:

Which camera should we use? I think it depends on what we really need. You can make very good works with your P&S but you might get some ugly photos with your SLR.

...any way, a D-SLR is much bigger than a P&S :D :lol:

Thank you for all these great pictures!! I was in VN back in 2003 and it absoloutely blew me away!! I didn't know what to expect going there, but after 3 weeks I didn't want to leave and I cannot wait to go back some day. We anticipated that things would only be getting better there as the years went by and these pictures are proving that to me...simply outstanding!!
