So, they're not going name one at all? Somebody from the Glasgow marketing bureau, of all places, wants them to, just because Edinburgh has one? Am I reading this correctly? Exactly why does this warrant an entire thread in an architecture and urbanism forum?

^^^^^^^^^^ What he said.

There's a thread for this kind of thing... not that it really even deserves to go in there. But hey ho.

While we are at it, are the endless posts about which airline is flying where really appropriate either?

I find them to be appropriate in the Airports thread... useful information. But there's no need to start individual threads for such small (or this case non) news items.
