nice pics. i have a question, since i've never been to both what was your perception of the general area over there and do you feel macedonia is far ahead of albania in terms of development? i know you went to korca and pogradec and i saw the photos which showed the reality of life there. i had never been there in my life so i never knew. it's not really fair to compare ohrid with pogradec seeing as ohrid is the second city of macedonia and pogradec is the 10th city of albania but what did you feel?

I knew this macedonian guy and he made ohrid sound like Paris but looking at these pics, looks like a developed village.

I think that macedonia is a head in the terms of development, i have visited both countries this summer.

Lol no, I'm far from a professional photographer, but I like to do it and I'm practising just for a few months. Last July I bought my first own camera: Sony DHC H2

Yeah, imo Albania (Pogragec/Korce) and Macedonia (Ohrid env.) are two different worlds. Ohrid could is to compare with a small Italian city, Albania was a real mess (u saw it on my pics). No asphalt on lots of roads, houses built very bad, bunkers everywhere and so on. Nevertheless, I really liked it in Albania, the mountains are great and the people were very kind. But Macedonia is just more modern (there are also less modern parts, but in general).

cool i wanted to get the opinion of someone that went there. have you been to any other parts of albania besides pogradec and korce? actually would it be possible to make a small quick map of your adventures :D please
