Space is always important. Living space, designed space and functional space. The space stretching beyond your windows. At SP˛ there is space for everything. A fully equipped Gymnasium. A Sky Lounge. Coffee shops and other upmarket shops on the lower level. North and East facing views, inviting the city inside, sharing its many facets with you. Designed with insight and style by ‘Source Design’, each of the 48 studio- and two-bedroom apartments hosts the most immaculate finishes.

The style is sleek, shiny, sophisticated. It is a break in traditional trends, a bold step forward towards comfort and practicality. Open and airy, it feels light and organic. It is more than just a lifestyle, more than just living space – it is an idea. One that will change the way we live and work forever.

The rules have changed. Instant satisfaction is now the preferred order of the day. From coffee bars to boutique shops, SP˛ is in the thick of things. 120 000m˛ of fashion retail, restaurants, entertainment, health spas, apartments and upmarket office space will set your lifestyle apart. The inner city is about to wake up. Walk out your door and straight into a world of choice. Explore everything you love.

heehee.. :)

Have asked for an exterior renderring. It's located at 41A Rissik Street, which I think overlooks the City Hall, the Barbican and the dormant Post Office. But i'll check. Apparently 38 out of the 43 units were sold out before launch. Now if only all these people would bloody well move in. But I suppose they're still empty shells still.

^^ hehe. I think it's corner Market and Rissik. I'm not so keen on it myself.. think it's a bit too clinical. No red colours. Needs red.

It's sexy.

I like how they are marketing it as a second phase of Shakespeare Place, and the logo is pretty neat. Another cool project for the CBD :)

Hopefully someday it's overflowing with projects like this!!

And pretty soon we can post the Barbican development thread. R120million refurbishment by Old Mutual of one of Joburg's most precious gems! That lady will soon have her cake and eat it!

I think most of these refurbishments are do for completion in early 2007.

The SP2 is due for completion early 2008. SP1 will be done end of this year. I think they are a bit expensive, and the view from some of the more affordable appartments sucky suck. But there is a market for these places, especially with the Western district picking up speed.

I guess they have thrown in a towel on this one. They must just sell it to people who can actually work on it.
