Nada de edificios u hoteles alzándose con sus toneladas de cemento, nada de paisajismos cosméticos, nada de balnearios artificiales, nada de complejos habitacionales. Sólo el sol, la arena coralina de las playas, el agua azul donde se trasparenta una riquísima vida tan bella como apetitosa. Esa es la imagen que muestra este archipiélago lleno de vida y naturaleza.
Como parte de Venezuela, Los Roques es un archipiélago de 292 islotes, cayos y bancos de arena con una extensión de 220.000 hectáreas, ubicado en pleno Mar Caribe y a 170 kilómetros de Caracas. Su centro poblacional, político y de servicios está en la única isla llamada Gran Roque. Las otras islas más importantes son Francisqui, Nordisqui, Madrisqui y Crasqui. El aeropuerto está ubicado al borde del mar, a escasos metros de la playa. Al descender del avión, se debe pasar por la oficina de Inparques (Instituto Nacional de Parques) para cancelar la tasa de entrada al parque.
El parque es similar en tamaño a las islas virgenes.

"La Blanquilla" (isla blanca) recibe este nombre por la belleza de sus playas de arena muy fina y extraordinariamente blanca. Poca corriente, aguas transparentes como el cristal, arrecifes de coral a poca profundidad con mucha biodiversidad, gran riqueza de vida subacuática, snorkeling fácil y sereno. Isla totalmente virgen, casi inhabitada, en su más puro estado natural.

Se llaman "Los Llanos" a una amplia extensión que va desde el extremo occidental del estado Apure hasta el extremos oriental del estado Monagas. Esta extensión corresponde prácticamente a una tercera parte del territorio del país que limita al norte con los Andes, la cordillera central y oriental y al sur con la frontera colombiana y con el Orinoco.
Los llanos están divididos en tres grandes áreas:
Los llanos occidentales, que corresponden a los estados Apure, Barinas y Portuguesa y se dividen en llanos bajos y altos.
Los llanos centrales, que corresponden a los estados Cojedes y Guárico.
Los llanos orientales en los estados Anzoátegui y Monagas.

Una de las hermosas regiones que posee Venezuela, está conformada por los Llanos, extensas sabanas que se pierden en el horizonte, donde la vegetación y la fauna tan variada, son de una belleza única y sobrecogedora. Sus inmensas tierras poseen una cantidad de ecosistemas que brindan la oportunidad de apreciar una diversa cantidad de paisajes y vivencias que hacen del Llano una experiencia muy gratificante para los amantes de la naturaleza.

En esta región se pueden apreciar dos grandes estaciones que establecen una marcada diferencia en la vida del llano: La lluvia y la sequía. En la primera los bosques de galería, caños y las sabanas; llenas de palmas, corozos, merecures, samanes que presentan todo su esplendor en la época donde el verdor resplandece y se observar al llano florecido. En la segunda, el verde se transforma en amarillo y marrón, el polvo cubre las llanura y la vida se extingue y la mayor parte de la región para concentrarse en unos pocos focos donde permanece el agua. Estos cambios tan radicales hacen que el llano tenga dos períodos de atracción opuestos e igualmente llamativos, donde la naturaleza cambia de forma tal que un lugar presente dos paisajes totalmente distintos de una estación a la otra.

Las condiciones naturales de la región determinan un cambio en la fauna silvestre, representada por una valiosa familia típica de espacios abiertos y superficies encharcadas, destacando entre los mamíferos: manatíes, toninas, chiguïres, venados, báquiros, cunaguaros, zorros, gato montés, y diferentes especies de mono. Los reptiles más abundantes son las babas, caimanes, y culebras de agua.

Todas las especies se concentran durante el verano en los escasos cuerpos de agua (lagunas y morichales) por lo cual es el mejor momento para observar el mayor número de especies reunidas en escasos y puntuales espacios dentro de las grandes extensiones de sabana seca, condición esta última, que facilita los desplazamientos por el territorio, por cuanto muchas áreas del llano se inundan durante la época de lluvias.

Sin embargo, es esta última la que ofrece una flora majestuosa y variada, que muestra todo su esplendor. Así mismo, es el mejor momento para observar muchas especies juveniles pues estas se apresuran a sincronizar el nacimiento de sus crías con el final del verano a fin de aprovechar la abundancia de alimentos que trae la lluvia para criarlos.

MORROS DE SAN JUAN
Están localizados al Noroeste de Venezuela, cerca de San Juan de los Morros, en el sitio denominado La Puerta de los Llanos. (Estado Guárico)
Son fomraciones geológicas que se elevan hasta los 1.060 metros, constituidas por caliza arrecifal que data de hace 80 millones de años.

PARQUE PAURARIO
Este parque se encuentra cercano a la formación de los Morros de San Juan. Dentro de este se encuentran varias formaciones rocosas donde se practica la Escalada en Roca.
Las paredes de esta formación son de roca caliza. Este tipo de roca ofrece una gran variedad de agarres para realizar contraposiciones, empotres, pinzas, monodedos, etc. Gran parte de las paredes que se encuentran son extraplomadas.
Suelen haber avejas, avispas y pegones en las vías, esta zona no es muy concurrida, por lo que es recomendable preguntar a los locales sobre la condición de las rutas.
El equipamiento de las vías esta casi todo hecho, por lo que puedes disfrutar de una gran variedad de rutas (unas 40)

Aguaro-Guariquito fue decretado parque nacional el 7 de marzo de 1974, y cubre una superficie de 569.000 hectáreas, localizadas al Sur del Estado Guárico, en donde podemos encontrar las cuencas de los Ríos Mocapra, San Bartolo y Faltriquera, afluentes del Guariquito y, parcialmente, de los Ríos Aguaro y San José.

En este parque se preserva el ecosistema más representativo de los llanos centrales venezolanos. En su conjunto, conforma un paisaje muy particular con la presencia de los esteros, los bancos, los bajíos y los médanos. Asociados al paisaje de la sabana, se encuentran los bosques de galería, que son formaciones vegetales continuas y espesas que se forman en los márgenes de los ríos, donde abunda la palma de moriche y la palma macanilla.
¿Cómo llegar al Parque Nacional Aguaro Guariquito? Por carretera se puede llegar desde San Juan de Los Morros a Ortiz, de allí al Sombrero, a Cahaguaramas y luego a las Mercedes del llano. Posteriormente, debes tomar la vía a Cabruta.
No existen mayores facilidades para los visitantes. Sin embargo, en las inmediaciones del Río Aguaro hay zonas para la pesca deportiva (sólo en temporada), previo permiso de INPARQUES.

El área de la Reserva de Fauna Silvestre Esteros de Camaguán se encuentra en el estado Guárico, entre el río Portuguesa y la carretera nacional Camaguán-San Fernando de Apure. Constituye una zona inundable sometida a un régimen estacional, el cual presenta las tres unidades fisiográficas propias de la llanura aluvial, como son los bancos, bajíos y esteros, con vegetación característica de las mismas.
El diccionario Espasa Ilustrado, se nos apunta que un "estero" es un terreno bajo pantanoso, intransitable, que suele llenarse de agua por la lluvia o filtraciones de un río o laguna y abundan las plantas acuáticas. En estos días los "Esteros de Camaguán" están totalmente llenos de agua por sus cuatro lados.
Esto los hace elegantes y bellos para el turismo. El amanecer o el atardecer es un espectáculo para las artes visuales y para la vista en general. El color verde en sus múltiples facetas, el movimiento lento de las aguas, las innumerables clases de pájaros, las pequeñas embarcaciones turísticas y las muchas maneras del existir de los animales salvajes lo hacen abierto al turismo nacional o internacional.

HATO EL FRÍO
Finca ganadera situada a 180 Km. al oeste de San Fernando de Apure. Con una extensión de 80 mil hectáreas, alberga 40 mil cabezas de ganado, mil caballos y especies típicas de la zona.
Reconocido mundialmente como una reserva de fauna silvestre y un extraordinario paraje natural, en El Frío encuentran protección un conjunto de especies en peligro de extinción como el caimán del Orinoco y la nutria gigante, al igual que otras especies amenazadas como el jaguar, el puma o el delfín de agua dulce. También abundan las anacondas, los caimanes de anteojos o babas, los chiguires o capibaras, los osos hormigueros y los monos aulladores.

El grupo de las aves se encuentra especialmente bien representado con más de 300 especies. Garcetas, ibis y cigüeñas se congregan en gran número en los ríos y nidifican en grandes colonias. Entre las especies llamativas están el garzón soldado o jabirú, la chenchena o hoatzin, la guacamaya bandera, la tigana y gran cantidad de aves rapaces.

HATO EL CEDRAL
Es un hermoso hato ganadero y un importante centro turístico para el novedoso y creciente sector del ecoturismo. Está ubicado en Los Llanos bajos del Estado Apure.
Con una extensión aproximada de 53.000 hectáreas, la vida silvestre del hato es espectacular. Se han identificado aproximadamente 340 especies de aves entre las que destacan corocoras rojas, gabanes, guacamayas, chenchenas y garzas.
La fauna es rica en mamíferos y reptiles. Se pueden observar zorros, osos palmeros, venados, delfines de río, monos, cunaguaros, pumas, cocodrilos. Especial mención tienen los chiguires -el mayor roedor del mundo- con una población aproximada de 20.000 ejemplares.
También es espectacular la búsqueda de anacondas o contemplar a los caimanes de cerca ya que abundan en los ríos llaneros.

PATRIMONIO DE LA HUMANIDAD

Este parque tiene dos sectores muy distintos. Al Este, el sector Oriental, en donde se encuentra la Gran Sabana y al Oeste, el sector occidental, en donde se encuentra el Salto Angel y la laguna de Canaima .
Uno de los lugares más fabulosos del país, es sin duda alguna, la Laguna Canaima y sus alrededores. En esta laguna se pueden ver los saltos Hacha, Wadaima, Golondrina y Ucaima, y al los 3 tepuyes que acompañan cualquier vista de Canaima: El Nonoy-Tepuy (Zamuro) a la izquierda, el Kuravaina-Tepuy (Venado) al centro y el Topochi-Tepuy (Cerbatana) con su ligera inclinación a la derecha.
Una de las cosas que más llama la atención es el color del agua, que es completamente rojiza, debido a la gran cantidad de minerales que contiene. Así mismo la arena tiene un suave color rosado, por efecto del cuarzo.

Parque Nacional Henri Pittier
El primer parque nacional del pais

Lleva su nombre en reconocimiento a un gran naturalista y Conservacionista (Henri Pittier), nacido en Suiza y radicado en Estados Unidos, Costa Rica y finalmente en Venezuela, donde fundó una familia, murió y dejó la huella imperecedera de su amor a la naturaleza venezolana.

El Parque Nacional Henri Pittier se decretó originalmente con el nombre de "Rancho Grande" el 13 de Febrero de 1.937.

En sus 107.800 héctareas mas de 500 especies de aves y la menos 22 especies endemicas,9 rios, una flora muy diversas y ecosistemas protegidos.

En el sector Oriental del parque nacional Canaima, en medio de la región conocida como la "Gran Sabana", se encuentra el tepuy más alto de todos:

Los tepuyes son esas montañas verticales con forma de meseta. Tienen paredes verticales de cientos de metros de altura.
Existen mas de 100 tepuyes en la zona.
Solo algunos tepuyes, entre los cuales se encuentra el Roraima y el Auyantepuy, pueden ser ascendidos a pie, sin equipo de escalación, gracias a una "rampa" que va pegada a la pared vertical.

Se le ha dado a conocer de varias maneras: Montaña de Cristal, Isla en el Tiempo, entre otros, pero lo cierto es que el nombre ancestral de los indigenas pemones de La Gran Sabana es Dodoima O Roroima (en eso las webs que consulte no se ponen deacuerdo) , que significa Montaña Azul
Colocar un pie sobre el Roraima es como cruzar el sutil portal virtual del tiempo. Este lugar, hace 3.600 millones de años, era igual a como lo vemos, sentimos y percibimos actualmente. Por esta razón, debemos recordar que una simple pisada en uno de los tepuyes puede destruir procesos biológicos para siempre, de ahí que es muy importante transitar sólo por los senderos ya comunes, en donde hay mucho para ver y disfrutar.

La palabra trek la importaron los aventureros estadounidenses de Africa, y quiere decir caminar disfrutando la naturaleza. En la lengua pemon hay una palabra muy parecida : "tek" que es el nombre del primer rio que se cruza camino al Roraima y que significa hormiga.

El "punto triple" marca la frontera entre Venezuela, Brasil, y La Guayana Esequiba (Zona en Reclamación). este hito fue colocado en 1931 por una comisión internacional.

En la cumbre de este tepuy, científicos y expedicionarios han descubierto especies vegetales y animales consideradas como extinguidas, o que nunca se habían observado en otro lugar del planeta.

En este tepuy, bajo un elevado porcentaje de humedad, crecen innumerables pequeños árboles de hojas, cubiertos por un espeso musgo y líquenes de color verde claro a blancuzco con numerosos otros parásitos, cuelgan multitud de bromelias y orquídeas en flor, donde pequeños colibríes, impulsados por su curiosidad, vuelan muy cerca de nosotros.

Ejemplo esta expedicion tipo:

1º día salimos a las 9 :00 am. de Sta. Elena en Rústico hasta la comunidad de Peraitepuy de Roraima, para encontrarnos con los porteadores que nos ayudaran con la carga, desde allí comienza la jornada de 4 a 5 horas de caminata hasta el Río Kukenan, donde pasaremos la primera noche, a 1400 msnm.

2º día después del desayuno y recoger campamento, saldremos hacia el Campamento Base, comienza el ascenso real hasta una altura de 2000 msnm. Aproximadamente 4 a 5 horas de caminata.
(Del campamento al campamento base son 25 Kilometros! )

3º día comienza el ascenso por la Rampa hasta la cumbre del Tepuy, alcanzaremos los 2700 msnm, será una jornada de 4 a 5 horas, para luego acampar en las formaciones naturales (conocidas como los hoteles) que nos protegerán del clima.


4º día dispondremos de todo el día para recorrer el Tepuy hacia el punto triple, valle de los cristales, el foso, etc.

5º día iniciamos el descenso hasta el Río Tek, unas 7 horas de promedio.

6º día llegaremos hasta Peraitepuy de Roraima, donde nos esperará el vehículo que nos llevará hasta Sta. Elena.

Realizable todo el Año, con mayores probabilidades de buen clima de Febrero a Mayo (no recomendamos la fecha de Semana Santa por haber poca agua y demasiado turismo).

^^Sip, cuando vas a Tucacas que vas saliendo de Carabobo derrepente dice "Bienvenidos a Yaracuy" y un poquito más allá dice "Bienvenidos a Falcón", hay un río que desemboca en la ventiúnica playa de Yaracuy, pasa debajo del puente yendo hacia Tucacas.:)

Este es el río que desemboca en la única playa que tiene Yaracuy.

ese rio del rafting, es el rio acequias! queda en la via bnas. - San cristobal! es frio y muy bueno, uno de los mejores en el país y latinoamerica, para realizar rafting, y el rio q tiene el puentecito, es la entrada al pueblo de libertad de bnas, municipio rojas creo yo!

^^Es que la playa es mínima!, yo me di cuenta fue por el aviso de "Bienvenidos a Yaracuy", me impresioné porque tampoco sabía que Yaracuy tuviera salida al mar, por eso tomé la foto.:D

Bueno según tengo entendido esa parte de Yaracuy con salida al mar esta en reclamación entre Yaracuy y Falcón

Decirte con exactitud está dificíl, la bajé hace mas o menos dos meses y no sabía donde la había guardado, la daba por perdida, pero hoy limpiando el disco duro apareció.

Disculpa, no habia leido esa parte...

ja que curioso yo subi con los chamos dueños de esa pagina hasta laguna verde, es burda de interesante e impactante, es guao!, la intencion era subir hasta pico espejo pero por dificultades generales del grupo (era un viaje pagado pero hubo gente que no aguanto no estaban preparados era la primera vez que subiamos) llegamos hasta esa laguna despues de unos tres dias y nos regresamos, la verdad por cuestiones de tiempo no habia entrado mucho a este thread y menos a detallarlo pero por lo visto es muy interesante y pues para colaborar con algo pondre nuestras propias fotos del viaje aqui pero despues de carnavales, ahora si un grupo de amigos mas reducido conociendo las condiciones nos vamos a lanzar otra vez hasta los picos y prometo colocar las mejores fotos.

Como has notado, las fotos que estan en este hilo son de excelente calidad,
colores, vivos, buena resolución, bien enfocadas
sino he subido fotos de esas zonas que dices es muy probable que se deba a que no cumplen los estandares requeridos, o estan sin identificar y no reconozco de que zona son.
Si tienes fotos de esos lugares que los cumplan los requisitos pues eres bienvenido a subirlas.

La temperatura es estable en todo el año, 0ºC o menos en la madrugada y 25ºC o más al mediodía. Ahora las nevadas como esas sólo ocurren en la temporada de lluvia, sobre todo entre Julio y Septiembre.

tienes razon
un dia de estos me dedico a actualizar el indice del hilo para incluir los aportes de todos, (por el itempo de ese post, la unica que posteaba aqui era yo) y lo posteo con frecuencia,

La temperatura es estable en todo el año, 0ºC o menos en la madrugada y 25ºC o más al mediodía. Ahora las nevadas como esas sólo ocurren en la temporada de lluvia, sobre todo entre Julio y Septiembre.
