Зараз навчаюсь в місті Нью-Йорк. Потім продовжую навчання в Німеччині, напевно починаючи вже з літа 2007. Потім вже повертаюсь в Київ працювати :)

I abandoned my Journalism studies and now my major is Political Science. I'm studying German now and my intention is to continue studying Political Science, but in Germany, to be more aware of EU and Europe in general, as that is where I will work and live (in Ukraine). Plus Germany is much closer, I could visit Belarus and Ukraine more easily.

Flickr is awesome. It's like fotosight.ru and those kinds of sites. There are a lot of really talented people and great photos. Many of Lviv, Kyiv, and Ukraine in general. And they're not all small, those are just the thumbnails. If you open a photopage, right above a photo there is "All Sizes" with a little magnifying glass beside it. There, you can see a much bigger photo (for most of them). It's really cool, just join them for free, and try it out.

So why did you pick Germany in particular? The language is not very easy to learn. You didn't learn it in school, did you? I did, and I think it would be really hard to start learning it again, even with the base knowledge that I have. But still, I want to sometime in the future.
Are you going there for sure, or just thinking about it? Do you know which city, university, etc? And what do you want to do with you PoliSci degree?

В детстве, я прочитал книжку о путешествии 2 чехов на автомобиле Skoda (Шкода ) по Южной Америке. Действие происходило в конце 40-х годов. Там были класные, правда, черно-белые фотографии небоскребов БуэносАйреса, СанПаулу, Рио. Может именно по этому я полюбил путешествия и небоскребы? :) :jk:

Макс, я в дестве читал именно эту книжку, она кажется в трех томах была?
Я из-за этой книжки очень полюбил Южную Америку и просто мечтаю туда съездить:) А мне из этой книжки запомнился Ла-Пас, столица Боливии, где эти путешествинники сидела на горе и смотрели как заходит солнце над черепичными крышами Ла-Паса, так меня это поразило :)

So why did you pick Germany in particular? The language is not very easy to learn.
I agree, German is not easy to learn, but this is an interesting language for sure. Good luck in learning :D
