Great pictures. When it comes to weather, the two cities have little in common. Yet both are located on, & largely ringed, by water, the Pacific & estuaries. While the canal turned Panama City into a boomtown, it' s also had a significant impact on the growth of San Francisco. In fact, SF was the site of the Panama-Pacific expo in the early 20th century. Great to compare the skylines. PC's skyline looks at least as impressive as ours!

Great to compare the skylines. PC's skyline looks at least as impressive as ours!The two cities also share a common history during the California Gold Rush of 1849 (hence the term "49ers") when they established a regular round trip schedule ferrying gold seekers and mail between each other. And with tongue planted firmly in cheek I will add that today, the two cities share my claim of each other as my cities... ;)

:eek: The skyline of Panama City is realy cool :cheers: and I think that it's better than in SF.
