Can someone please tell me where exactly they failed to cooperate with the rules? Do you even really know why these people were brigged or banned? Are you aware that the Mod is actually at fault here, and that some people have been banned/brigged for something that hardly broke the rules? If we're going to dissect what actually happened, people should first take a look at this URL:

Check out the last part of that thread and I think it is really obvious that something is wrong with the moderator in that thread. And I'm not attacking the moderator because I'm trying to be provocative here, but I think he got a little too defensive for absolutely no reason!

Let's view this a little closer. This isn't everything that happened, but these are just some simple snippets that basically sum up the whole thing:

Sodnal is from USA, Konstantinopoulos.

Someone PLEASE tell me what exactly did Sodnal do wrong! And then someone tell me what was so wrong about Giorgos, Rev, and greekguymike QUESTIONING this same incident about a moderator abusing his own priviledges!

I think this is quite unfair that it's being treated like nothing ever happened. When a Lithuanian member kept having his avatar or his signature changed by a moderator, that was taken quite seriously. I think this should be dealt with in the same fashion.

I don't think those orders were very rational, to be honest. They were quite exaggerated, and the replies weren't that bad. And I believe Giorgos has the threads archived.

No matter what the archives say, Kostantinoupolis could have been the biggest a-hole around, he still is in his right. He is in position of authority, and disrespecting him is disrespecting the whole staff of SSC.

Had they stopped when Kostantinoupolis first told them to, they would have had no problem. Hell, if they wanted, they could have reported his apparently bad attitude to the higher powers, who, after examination, could have told Kostantinoupolis to change a thing or two.
That's what should have been done.

The power to ban should not be confused with "being right" and, from the thread cited above, the mod looked a bit intoxicated with his position of "authority."

Konst-whatever should have been reported to someone over him, as his demeanor does nothing for the forum.

there is no "being right" in this forum, only what the staff deems acceptable.
If Konstantinoupolis believes these 4 members should either shut up or get in pink dresses and have a tea party, then it's up to those 4 guys to decide what they want to do.

USSYankee banned? Most likely it was something in the News Forum, I believe that there should be a rule that no one can be banned in the News Section if it one's belief, but if racism or bias takes place, then the option is out there.

I respect the mods, but it somes to think that the mods over react in some issues.

You guys really do not understand what we have access to and what we know about members here at SSC. We know who is a annoyance and we know who is a contributor. We also know when someone is trolling. So please leave the moderating to the moderators. If you do not like it then leave.
