Why would they build a 1000 m tower for? Its not economically profitable if it is plain concrete and observation. Secondly, I don't this tower will make it to life since there are more important projects that are prioritized. Also, it dosent look attractive and it will cost way too much.

If you look at Abraj AlBait. It is 485 meters high and every meter of it is used for the benifit of the tenant or customer. This project is not a sucess I think.

I think the idea of the world's tallest building/structure being a minarah of a mosque is quite appealing....but I do have to agree it doesn't have much real use. Wish they made a 1000 m building to go with it ;)

The whole "Taif tourism city" is just another Bondoqia Islands: Pipe dreams sold by greedy businessmen. Not going to be built, at least nothing remotely similar to what they're describing.

We all refuse the idea not cause the height of the tower is 1000M.

If the tower was in Riyadh, Jeddah, Khubar, we would be happy and search for more news about it but cause the tower is in dead city which is Taif (I know Taif is not really dead) but let's say it is dead city to see there 1000M skyscraper.

No one would live there and I do not believe that Saudi government would approve such skyscraper in city like Taif, It had to be in one of major cities or at least in one of the new economic cities but taif? NO

That is why I believe that this project never will be built too inshallah

1000M tall building in tourism city? If this tifa tourism city is in Taif then this project is impossible to be done inshallah but if it gonna be in one of main cities or one of economic cities then it would be acceptable wallahuaalam

This would've looked scary if it was ever built. I'm not too keen on tall observation towers/structures like the CN, Milad or others. They're too alien-like and not aesthetically appealing, no matter how they were designed.

Actually the notion of having a 1000m tall minaret is hilarious in itself :)..
Don't get me wrong guys.. I love to have a mosque with skyscraper minarets, but 1000m is just REALLY exaggerated.
That's just about the idea of the project. About having it built, I think it's just IMPOSSiBLE.. Especially here
