Smara

Smara is nice. And that is surprising, since most people living in neighbouring cities, seem to think so. Everything here is small-scale, but walks around the town does not get boring. And there is even a fair collection of sights here, too.
The zawiyya of the Blue Sultan is the greatest sight here. But even the mosque is a must for anyone coming to Smara, as it has a design very different from anything I have seen elsewhere in Morocco.
