I've just found this amazing residential highrise, I think it is located in Guangzhou. I had never seen something like this! Amazing!

Often, when they merge both old and new styles the result looks very kitsch, but they did a great job here.

Certainly better than the fake baroque monstrosities with retarded looking hellenic sculptures made by a third grade "artist" with two left hands. ;)

Well, the idea of this thread is that we all post pics of other buildings which respect the title of the thread :)

Most traditional Chinese inspired buildings are bad, ie. Taipei 101. But this one's actually quite nice.

But many people love Taipei 101 so it is more like a personal preference.

An American lawyer told me that Taipei 101 looks like the stacked takeout boxes from Chinese restaurants in America.

The surrounding area of Tapei 101 sucks.

A American lawyer told me that ...
GWB told the world he'll bring freedom and safety to every country. Who takes Americans seriously?

^^ Don't take my post as a political statement. You are overly sensitive.
The American lawyer whom I had a business with made a correct description of geometrical feature of Taipei 101. Since I was not the original person who made this description, so I had to point out who made this description because I always wanted to respect other's "intellectual property".

I like the Jin Mao Building very much. I think it`s inspired by traditional architecture.

Bad example.

A very good example, even if it is not an skyscarper. ;)
