No , Phonecian village is going in front of martyrs square near the port. Besides there being a huge park next to the marina tower and the town quay, I don't think anyone announced any projects to built on the reclaimed land yet.

I think most of the plots are sold but no announced projects yet...

I read somewhere that it all wont be completed untill 2020. Thats a very long time !

^^ It's not a single project! It's like the Beirut Central District they still haven't completed all the renovation there and it's been like 15 years since Soliderie started handling the district

Its all based on supply and demand..You cant put a date..

I think it will take more time to build all of this, remember its a whole new district built from scratch. It doesn't look as easy as it does, they're building everything from highrises, to electrical grids, roads, etc..

I know this isnt part of Beirut Marina but I had no other place to put it.
Was this part of the St Georges Beach hotel there before or is it new?

I dont really like how the windows of the Marina Towers turned out.. Its looks quite messy.

hmm i dont remeber the pool looking liek that..is it new? Its kinda weird how it abuts the marina..hmm swim up to the people walking by to get to there boats lol

^^ its new judging by the bloggingbeirut pic, the people that owns a boat would not go through the Saint Georges side to get to them. They would go through the private tunnel or from the other side

is it me or the Platinum tower should have been a little wider when seen from the marina side?! It looks like it's anorexic from this angle and it's less imposing! (first picture in Nadini's post from Solidere) Don't get me wrong, It's one of my favorite towers around Beirut though!

But what is going to be visible between it and the Beirut tower when they build it?

^^ nothing is getting built between it (building wise), its going to have a nice garden and a huge fountain, u can see it in the rendering
