Nice pics, I have been to Cotonou once on the way to Lomé (Togo) where I passed my holidays. (I was a careless boy of 10 years..but my memories are still vivid) Well, it has been many years back but Cotonou seems still to be as bustling as ever, some nice new structures, however.

Personally I preferred Lomé and Togo which was a nice holiday destination at that time (very late 80´s).

from what Ive seen this looks actually like a very nice city that could use some new paint in a few places, but overall very appealing. I like the sidewalks, the walkways in traffic, the ocean front view, the bricked roads and the planning seems to be pretty good as well. The trees and greenspace also help although it could use a litte more. Some more pics:
