Bangunan-bangunan tersebut di bangun sebelum tahun 1995. Jadi tidak ada perkembangan yang cepat di medan.

I just thought that Indonesian cities (not include Jakarta and Surabaya) have more 18 storeys as their tallest tower..... And it's only Bandung, Makassar and Palembang have it???

apabila nanti Bandara Polonia & Husein Sastranegara jadi dipindahkan masing-masing ke bandara baru yang lebih besar di Kuala Namu ( Medan ) & Kertajati ( Bandung ), kedua kota ini tidak akan memiliki masalah lagi dengan konstruksi gedung-gedung tinggi seperti di Jakarta & Surabaya, mengingat Bandung & Medan juga sama-sama berfungsi sebagai kota Bisnis yang penting di indonesia yang banyak memerlukan gedung-gedung tinggi untuk perkantoran.
khusus buat tangerang, kota ini lebih cenderung sebagai pelimpahan limbahnya jakarta...dimana gedung tinggi seperti Apartemen & Perkantoran dibangun sebagai penopang Mobilisasi Jakarta, itupun hanya di wilayah karawaci saja, gedung-gedung yang ada memang lebih tinggi di bandingkan yang ada di Bandung & Medan tetapi kuantitasnya lebih sedikit hanya di sekitar karawaci saja sekitar 7 atau 8 gedung.

yeah, Jakarta's skyline is RISING :) despite most of its land is SINKING:ohno:

Also noticed that actually Jakarta's skyline can grouped by many clusters (from left to right : Grogol-Tomang, Kemayoran, Kota-Monas, Tanah Abang, Thamrin-Sudirman, Kuningan-Gatot Subroto, SCBD-Senayan)... tHANKS BOZHART, the pic is even nicer when you placed Wisma 46 nearly in the center among the skyscrapers.

Taken from Semanggi Apartment. My camera has panorama feature and I used PS CS2 to stitch 18 photos and produced a photo with more than 24,000 pixels width ;)

This pic was taken on Sunday which most of offices closed, so some office towers looked dark. The left part of pic (Mega Kuningan area) looks whitish caused by strong lighting of football stadium that came from below.

Nilainya meningkat secara progresif. Misal kota A punya 1 gedung dgn 30 lantai dan kota B punya 2 gedung masing-masing 15 lantai (totalnya juga 30 lantai), kota A akan mempunyai nilai skyline 25 point, lebih tinggi dari kota B hanya 2 point.

Which street has most skyscrapers in Makassar?

The Skyline in Makassar mostly spread in the old golden triangle area (it's called kota / the old city center where also still many old ducth building located ), in the west "Somba Opu Street/Losari Beach, Hasanuddin Street, and Nusantara Street" ( where Hotel Aston, Hotel Imperial Aryaduta, Hotel Quality, Hotel Losari Beach, Hotel Royal Regency, hotel Kenari, Hotel Santika, Butung Center, Chinatown center, Berdikari Tower, and Pearl Flour Mills Tower located ). The project of Lippo Karawaci also located in this area such as Mall GTC, the Losari Beach / Tanjung Bunga will be the future Manhattan area in Makassar, the new project of " Mega Tower - the 9 Storeys building located in this area the same location with the Dissney Land of Makassar, the largest convention center in east of Indonesia also located here. Ciputera Group also planned to build Apartement and Mall in this Area, Hyatt group also show their interest to build hotel in this area.

From the above street then turn right at North "Ahmad Yani street, Kajaolalido Street, Jend.Sudirman Street" this three streets are the main Central Business District in Makassar, the area is very expensive and famous because these streets surround the Karebosi Square ( the downtown of Makassar ) same with Monas area in Jakarta ( the building which located in this area : Hotel Singgasana, Menara Balaikota, Hotel Marannu, Menara Makassar, most of the Banks headquarter in Makassar include Menara Danamon, Bank Bii, Bank Mandiri, BNI, BI, BRI, BCA, Mega, Niaga,etc, MTC Karebosi Shopping Center, Hotel Horizon, and the new project of Menara Bosowa - 19 Storeys office tower located in this area.

The Jend. Sudirman Street continues by Sam Ratulangi Street in the central of Makassar, where hotel Sahid, BHS Building, Hotel Bumi Asih, some banks, Mall Ratu Indah and the new project of " Kalla Tower - the 14 storeys office building " located

The new Golden Triangle Area in Makassar at East of the City is Panakkukang Area ( it looks like Kuningan Jakarta ) " The Main Streets are Urip Sumoharjo Street and A.P. Pettarani Street " the intersection of these streets is under construction of the Fly over project. The building located in this area: Hotel Clarion, Royal Apartemen - 3 towers the same location with Panakkukang Square ( Carrefour, Index, ACE Hardware, Ramayana ) and Mall Panakkukang ( Matahari, Hypermart, Jco, E solution, etc ), Graha Pena, Menara DPRD Tk.II, University 45, Gedung Keuangan, and the future project is Marbella Apartemen - 7 towers.

Based on list of buildings from Ahmad06, Laba-laba and Megabliz and by using Emporis' formula, the points of skylines of Makassar, Medan and Bandung are below (only completed buildings) ;)


Bandung - 16 points
Makassar - 7 points

yap.. medan hanya dapat 2 point gara2 polonia. Kecewa banget. Mana ada investor selama ini mau membangun apartemen cuman 10 lantai ? kan rugi.
Belakangan ini ada gebrakan dari Pemko Medan dengan memberi persyaratan dibawah 25 lantai dapat dibangun di medan. Makanya banyak terdapat proyek2 diatas 15 lantai. Tapi sekarang ini malah terkendala. Royal Apartemen contoh nya yang sekarang menangguhkan pembangunan di lantai 13 karena DISHUB rupanya masih memberlakukan perarturan ketinggian hanya 50m. Sekarang lagi di godok di pusat. Mudah-mudahan diperbolehkan membangun 80m untuk royal residence yang awalnya 24 lantai menjadi 18 lantai. Kalo gak berhasil yah terpaksa dipangkas.

Mengherankan, bagaimana Bandung bisa membangun begitu banyak high-rise buildings padahal airportnya di di tengah kota?

Sebenarnya Bandung masih aman untuk membangun bangunan gedung diatas 25 lantai tergantung lokasinya. Dahulu gedung LIPPO (11 lantai) dan gedung Bumi Putra (9-10 lantai) sebenarnya hendak dibangun lebih dari 11 dan 10 lantai namun karena aturan Dephub dan Pemkot rencana tersebut dibatalkan demikian pula dengan kantor POS Indonesia yang sebenarnya jauh dari titik lintas penerbangan. Lain halnya dengan gedung Telkom semula 14 lantai dikarenakan dihawatirkan dapat mengganggu view Gedung Sate akhirnya hanya diijinkan 9 lantai. Demikian pula dengan gedung BNI di Jl. Printis (Viaduct) semula lebih dari 10 lantai hanya diijinkan 8 lantai. Jika kita melihat gedung PanAsia (20 lantai) sebenarnya letaknya diantara gedung LIPPO, Bumi Putra dan BNI, anehnya PanAsia dapat dibangun 20 lantai sementara LIPPO dan Bumi Putra yang lokasinya jauh dari Bandara hanya diijinkan 11-10 lantai, mengheran kan?
Setelah saya lakukan survei sendiri dan melihat posisi kota Bandung dan Bandara dari berbagai titik ketinggian (BTC) dekat Bandara, SECAPA, Menara Al-Furqon UPI, Ciumbuleuit, gedung PAU ITB (8 lantai), Menara Masjid Raya Bandung (19 lantai) dengan melihat saat pesawat akan landing di Bandara Husein Sastra Negara sebenarnya untuk bangunan BNI, POS Indonesia, LIPPO, Bumi Putra masih dapat ditinggikan masing-masing bertambah 8-11 lantai untuk BNI 8 lantai dan untuk POS Indonesia dapat lebih dari 20 lantai. Disamping itu saya pernah beberapa kali terbang dari Jakarta-Bandung, Bandung-Jakarta, Bandung-Surabaya dengan menggunakan Skyvan, Dask-8, CN-235, Fokker-100, Boeing 737-200, 737-300 dengan melihat posisi gedung yang saya sebutkan di atas sebenarnya ketinggian bangunan tersebut masih dapat ditambah sampai pada ketinggian yang aman untuk penerbangan. Bangunan Novotel dekat Bandara mempunyai ketinggian 12 lantai dan saya melihat ketika pesawat akan mendarat bangunan tersebut masih sangat aman untuk penerbangan meskipun letak bangunan tersebut tidak tepat dibawah jalur penerbangan. Sebenarnya banyak proyek di Bandung yang besar-besar namun dikarenakan berbelitnya birokasi dan keterbatasan kemampuan/pengetahuan Pemkot dan Dephub untuk mengetahui batas ketinggian aman penerbangan di Bandung pada akhirnya proyek-proyek tersebut hanya sampai sebatas proposal yang menumpuk hingga rayap lah yang membacanya. Sebagai perbandingan saja bandara international lama di Hongkong sangat berdekatan dengan bangunan2 tinggi dan sudah berdiri/digunakan puluhan tahun meskipun pada akhirnya digantikan dengan Bandara baru. Saya bangga jika kota-kota besar lainnya seperti Medan, Makasar, Palembang, Samarinda, Jayapura dapat tumbuh menjadi kota besar dengan infrastruktur dan bangunan lengkap dan megah karena dengan demikian kemajuan dapat dinikmati dimanapun oleh bangsanya dan warganya sendiri tidak tertumpu hanya di Jawa saja. Sejahtranya negri ini juga untuk kita semua dan keturunannya.

Jawabnya simple .. dan ini sudah lama terjawab...

Airport MEDAN lalu lintas udaranya sangat sibuk annual pax nya di atas 4 juta (data 2005). Ditambah lagi latih terbang TNI AU... Makin sibuk lah..

kalo BANDUNG annualpax nya masih 378 ribu (data 2005).

===== Airport MEDAN itu sangat sibuk trafiknya, bahkan sampai MALAM..... Penerbangan paginya juga dimulai dari subuh2.... Jadi hampir dikatakan airportnya (hampir) 24 jam beroperasinya.

Airport MEDAN punya landasan pacu yang lebih panjang (2,9 km) dan apron yang muat didarati ama B-747 sekalipun....Kebayang kan kalo banyak gedung-gedung nya sementara pesawat yang WIDE BODY mau mendarat??? B-737 aja bisa jatuh di ujung landasan dan memakan korban di darat, padahal di selatan landasan itu bangunannya LOW-RISE semua...

Silahkan, pelajari peta MEDAN beserta lokasi BANDARANYA, terus arah runwaynya .... beserta posisi CBDnya dan juga posisi CBD dipersekitaran ZAINUL ARIFIN itu... Posisinya sangat riskan.... Intinya, AIRPORTnya di posisi CENTRAL, CBDnya juga di posisi central... Dari gambarnya bang Laba-laba aja udah ketahuan ...

Bandingkan, dengan peta BANDUNG yang BANDARAnya agak ke BARAT LAUT.... sementara CBDnya di pusat kota!!! Jika kita melihat gedung PanAsia (20 lantai) sebenarnya letaknya diantara gedung LIPPO, Bumi Putra dan BNI, anehnya PanAsia dapat dibangun 20 lantai sementara LIPPO dan Bumi Putra yang lokasinya jauh dari Bandara hanya diijinkan 11-10 lantai, mengheran kan?


Oleh karena itu, gedung PanAsia sekarang di-hold :doh:

Gedung itu untuk perkantoran, dibangun oleh pengusaha pabrik textil terbesar di Bandung dan pemiliknya punya hobby basket. Sejak krismon melanda negeri ini di tahun 1998 dan industri textil di Bandung menurun pembangunan Gedung ini macet meski lantai 20 sudah selesai secara fisik.
Sebenarnya pihak Pemkot Bandung berencana membangun Kantor Pusat Tekstil Indonesia di Alun-Alun Timur Bandung sekaligus menjadi pusat perkantoran dengan gaya Art Deco Modern dengan ketinggian 27 lantai. Dari gambar rencana dan maket gedung ini sangat indah, sayang sampai sekarang belum terwujud. Tempat lahan yang akan dibangun di lokasi Palaguna.

wahh... Tangerang makin keren aja nihh..

...kasusnya sama seperti Kota Solo (Surakarta) yang gedung2 tingginya (6-11 lantai) letaknya menyebar, tidak terpusat di tengah kota atau kawasan tertentu

Dengan luas 44 km2 dan penduduk 550 jiwa, Solo memang terlalu kecil dan tidak sebanding dengan kota2 berkarakter metropolitan seperti Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, Palembang atau Semarang

Lebih ideal jika dibandingkan dengan kota2 besar seperti Padang, Jogja, Malang, Bandarlampung, Banjarmasin, Pontianak ataupun Balikpapan

...terus terang dalam hal ini gua agak kesulitan meng-klasifikasikan Kota2 seperti Bandung, Pekanbaru dan Batam :nuts:

15 storey Apartments (2 towers) on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, site location opposite The Center Point
status : proposed (official rendering and drawing not yet released)

12 storey Hotel in mix-used complex "The Ciputra-Sun Mall", location on ex-RSUD Dr Moewardi site
status : on-hold (official rendering and drawing released in 2005 but require major revisions & no signs of progress until now)

Projek2 yang lain hanya bangunan sekitar 4-7 lantai saja :bash:

Iya, pekanbaru kurang clusterized ,,, soalnya masih banyak lahan kosong di pusat kota :hammer:

Tapi gak lama lagi akan siap :
1. Perpustakaan Daerah ( yang 6 tingkat, tapi melebar,,, dan desainnya akan modern-style :D )
2. Gedung Kantor Gabungan Dinas Provinsi Riau ( yang 9 tingkat,, dan desainnya juga modern-style, dan alan melebar juga bangunannya, bentuk huruf L, (kalo gak salah liat yach :D))
^^ Kedua-dua proyek itu akan segera siap pada tahun depan, insya Allah, mungkin sebelum pilkada GUBRI ..hahahahahahaha ;)

3. Kata medan-visi, di koran Riau Pos ... di Pekanbaru akan segera dibangun Hotel Peak yang 29 tingkat (aku juga kurang tahu lokasi proyeknya)

4. Dan sedang direncanakan untuk dibangun Gedung Baru Kantor Pusat Bank Riau (14 tingkat) yang posisinya dekat dengan Perpustakaan daerah dan Gedung Gabungan Dinas itu :okay:

5. Ada juga yang kubaca di koran, katanya gak jauh dari kawasan itu, juga akan dibangun apartemen 28 tingkat.... (tapi beritanya masih samar-samar :bash: )


Tapi saat ini, Pekanbaru cukup berbangga karena bangunan tertinggi di Pekanbaru bukanlah sebuah HOTEL tapi gedung perkantoran,, yaitu Gedung Surya DUmai (10 lantai) .. :ohno: ... Hotel Ibis (11 lantai, kalo dihitung dari jendelanya) ... tapi kalo secara visual .. masih terlihat lebih tinggi Gedung SUrya Dumai ... Tapi bangunan tinggi yang terbesar jatuh pada Hotel Grand Jatra (sekitar 9-10 tingkat) ... atau Citra Plaza (7 tingkat) :D

Aq pribadi lebih seneng kalau bangunan tinggi itu berupa gedung perkantoran ...soalnya kesannya gimana.... gitu :D
