Lebanese Cedar October 15th, 2006, 02:53 AM Where are these renderings from?
Beiruti October 15th, 2006, 05:42 AM ^^ They can be found on Nabil Gholam's website, however Im still skeptical because I believe these renderings were made several years ago.
Very Controversial October 15th, 2006, 10:45 AM Nice classic.
LeB-iT October 17th, 2006, 09:54 PM is this Nabil Gholam guy designing everything in Beirut? lol
Beiruti October 18th, 2006, 12:03 AM ^^ I wouldnt mind, he is one of the best Lebanese architects.
Beiruti May 19th, 2007, 08:39 PM If this is really a project, then what happens to the planned Ritz Carlton in Rouche (old Carlton Hotel)? Could there be 2 in Beirut?
AmeriLEB May 19th, 2007, 09:47 PM There could be two..but according to the Ritz corporate website which lists future hotels...there is no mention of Beirut as a location..it lists up to 2010
ZOHAR May 19th, 2007, 10:23 PM classic!people still build such buildings?
john2890 May 20th, 2007, 05:04 PM such a nice design, but its not on nabil gholam's website. maybe its just an artists vision, or perhaps it wasnt approved. :(
ainmreisiot May 20th, 2007, 06:26 PM It was definitely on N. Gholam's website in the not too far past; I think it was to have been on the same side of Park Ave. as the Berytus building, just across from it on a street that cuts across the avenue (don't know the street's name). Don't know what is planned for that plot now.
Beiruti May 20th, 2007, 06:30 PM ^^ Well if that is the case I am not disappointed because this further supports the rumors that the Ritz-Carlton will be in the Rouche district.
AmeriLEB May 20th, 2007, 08:10 PM The most recent news supports the Carlton Hotel in raouche..but like i said the Corporate website does not list any opening in Beirut up until 2010..so lets see :)
Beiruti May 20th, 2007, 09:45 PM ^^ Well websites are usually not updated frequently, and I wouldnt expect them to list anything until actual construction has begun. Dont forget that recent events have slowed down all progress.
