Our Miami sleuths are digging into this one! And here's the results. It appears the new design isn't finalized so there may be more articulation to come: Yes, I know! I watched the whole thing unfold that morning while getting ready for work. Anyway, I did call as I said I would. They don't know what the building is going to look like. Plans haven't been finalized yet. Give them another 60-90 days I was told. Apparently, the rendering was just something preliminary for a press release. I spoke to the marketing director who seemed pretty excited about the project going forward since two years ago, he told me it wasn't even in the plans and that there wasn't even any money to do anything. He said he even had the architect standing in front of him. I then asked to speak to the architect, and the marketing director told me he wouldn't have any more to offer since nothing was final yet. ... We'll just wait and see what FECR comes out with in the next few months. Eric Offereins March 11th, 2012, 06:06 PM Nice design.
