Also those gisdusting colorfull seats are not how they are in Portugal or some other stadiums. This stadium is the biggest scandal of Turkish football federation. IMO it is not a modern stadium in my eyes anymore. No difference than the other ugly old stadiums from now on. :bash:

I have to disagree. It has nothing to do with architectural concept of the stadium... It's all about safety and security precautions.

As Sercan mentioned, FIFA and UEFA both demand for stairs and other evacuation routes to be clearly marked. Eveyrthing depends on scope of application, but in general what better way of "clearly marking" the routes would you have if most or many seats in the vicinity of these routes are white? Yellow stairs is the next best thing after plain ones, but then again - when stairs aren't "clearly distinguishable" from the seats color, then yellow is better than plain. Not aesthetically- I also think yellow ruins some stadiums' (this one's too) appearence, but for safety it seems best.

I think it looks class. I actually quite like the seating patterns and colourings, its different. Shame about a few of the final touches (Windows on the suites, seats etc.) If they we're sorted out this stadium would be world class, what are the concourse areas like?

Staris are really a comedy.
First they painted them yellow. Than the fans etc became angry (looks bad etc)
than they stopped and just painted the corners of the stairs.

I am sure, they will change the seats in a few years. These cheap seats will get old and Turkey announced today its official bid for EURO 2016, they will have to change them. According to the some news., Turkey-Armenia match will be played at this stadium.

I don’t mind the seating patterns actually I think the standard of the seats themselves are more of a problem. I would prefer this to a stadium full of grey seats :ohno:. For me this stadium is a beauty and extremely good value.

Apart from that, yes... its fair to say they've made a mess out of the painted corridors but the seat pattern itself really doesnt bother me. this stadium has absolutelly a color problem. Or the guy who decides the colors have no taste for color. Because he disturbs the view of this beautiful architecture with his stupid decision. Sad really sad.

The grass will look good later in the spring,probably it's still pretty cold,and it was cut very low,and that's why it looks look this.
It will look fine on the game day with Fener.

Allahını seversen, main line of the decoration is just complated. Others are just details that can be changed. And no need to put some stupid club stuffs for Kayseri wich is not created a club identity yet. Also this is the stadium of the city, not the club.

Does the colour of the seats affect the stadium? Of course not.

I think the should paint the stairs a uniform colour, ie. all yellow, or all grey. Looks a little untidy. However this stadium is yet to be finished? Looking amazing nonetheless.

I asked the architect which in the the office.
He said to that according to him it would be max. 38k.
But i asked him months ago :)

The main architect said yesterday on TV that it could be expanded to 40k.

You need +40k to host the UEFA Cup / EL Final.

And before the match the architect said that it is possible to increase it to 40k by adding more rows.

Well you could also fill the gap between the 1"a" and 1"b" (smaller) tiers, but I guess that would barely add 1,000 seats. Then by filling the corners out, maybe 3,000? (I am using the information seen in the previous pages :D ) I still can't see how it can be expanded to 41,000.

Also where is the money coming from for all this. It's a two day old stadium after all! :D
